  • Patent number: 7615975
Abstract: A cable for supplying electric power to a motor is electrically connected to an inner conductor of a terminal block via a contact by a mating structure of a male connector and a female connector. A connecting member for electrically connecting the inner conductor and a motor winding includes a fixed terminal and a movable terminal. The fixed terminal is electrically connected to the inner conductor by a fixing member and has a portion formed to extend along a terminal at the tip of the motor winding. The movable terminal is elastically deformable in accordance with the position of the terminal and arranged to hold the terminal interposed between itself and the fixed terminal. As a result, a motor module can be assembled to the terminal block integrally formed with a housing, while component tolerance is effectively absorbed by the connecting member.

  • Patent number: 7367825
Abstract: A connector connection structure includes: a female connector on a housing accommodating a dynamo-electric machine mounted in a vehicle; and a male connector shaped so as to be fitted into the female connector by inserting it with a force not smaller than a predetermined amount. The male connector includes a contact joinable with a contact of the female connector to be electrically connected, and a rod-like lever connected with the male connector via a fulcrum. The lever generates the force not smaller than a predetermined amount by applying, with its one end's position being restricted, a rotation force to the other end. The housing includes a protrusion for restricting the position of the one end.

  • Publication number: 20070138882
Abstract: A feed cable to a motor is electrically connected to an internal conductor of a terminal block by a contact, by a mating structure of a male connector and a female connector. To the tip of varnish-treated motor winding, a flexible bus bar that is a flexible member is connected. By electrically connecting the motor winding to the internal conductor via the flexible bus bar with high flexibility, the feed cable and the motor winding are electrically connected. The component tolerance can be absorbed by deformation of the flexible bus bar, and the motor module can be fastened to the terminal block unforcedly.

  • Patent number: 6733314
Abstract: In fitting a movable-side housing on a stationary-side housing, a front leading end portion of the movable-side housing is brought into contact with a front base portion of the stationary-side housing. At this time, it is unnecessary to accurately place the movable-side housing in position. When the movable-side housing is moved toward a matching position, guides guide the movable-side housing to the matching position reliably. Consequently, the cam followers fit into entrances of cam grooves. Thereafter, a slide lever is moved to bring electrodes of one housing into connection with electrodes of the other housing. It is not difficult to properly position the movable-side housing with respect to the stationary-side housing. Therefore, even in a situation in which it is difficult to visually check the position of the movable-side housing, an operation of fitting the movable-side housing on the stationary-side housing can be performed easily and reliably.
