  • Patent number: 9551891
Abstract: According to an aspect, a display module includes a display panel that displays an image on a display surface; an optical member; and a housing that supports the display panel and the optical member. The housing includes a first housing, a second housing, and a third housing that is arranged on a side of the second housing opposite to the first housing side. An end of the first housing on a display surface side of the display panel protrudes toward the center of the display surface to face an outer edge of the display surface. An end of the second housing on a side opposite to the display surface side of the display panel protrudes toward the center of the display surface to face an outer edge of a surface opposite to the display surface. The optical member is provided between the second housing and the third housing.

  • Patent number: 7349620
Abstract: A wiring circuit board is supported on the back surface of a light-guide plate and the wiring circuit board is inclined in a predetermined direction relative to the panel surface of a liquid crystal panel or to an arrangement position of a holding case. As a result, a substrate terminal is also arranged at an inclined position in the predetermined direction. A connector is mounted on a circuit board. Connector terminals of the connector are elastically deformable at least in a direction contacting the substrate terminal. These connector terminals are conductively connected to a plurality of mounting terminals, which are exposed and extended on the surface of the circuit board, respectively.

  • Patent number: 7157125
Abstract: A double-faced tape according to which, in the case of fixing a liquid crystal display panel and a backlight module together using the double-faced tape, reflection of external light can be reduced as much as possible at the fixed parts, and moreover incident light from the backlight module can be reflected back toward the backlight module with high reflectance, whereby light from a light source can be used effectively; one face of the double-faced tape 10A is made to be a low-reflectance face, and the other face is made to be a high-reflectance face or high-scattering face.
