  • Patent number: 6667598
Abstract: There is provided a control circuit including (a) a first circuit for generating a three-phase PWM (pulse width modulation) signal, the circuit having functions of generating a PWM signal necessary for driving a three-phase invertor motor, generating interruption at a carrier period, and generating interruption at an intermediate point of a carrier period, and (b) a second circuit for generating an analog-digital start trigger in synchronization with a timing at which the PWM signal is output. For instance, the second circuit includes a first compare register having a two-staged structure, and a second compare register having a two-staged structure, and the first circuit includes a PWM timer. The first and second compare registers makes comparison with an output signal transmitted from the PWM timer to thereby generate the analog-digital start trigger.

  • Patent number: 5436853
Abstract: A remote control signal processing circuit uses hardware to check the pulse of the remote control signal, detect the leader code, and make "0" or "1" judgment for status code or data code. Based on the edge detection signals given by the edge detection circuit to detect the leading and trailing edges of the signal, the pulse width of the remote control signal is measured with a timer, and the measurement value of the pulse width is latched by a latch circuit. A check circuit compares the value latched at the latch circuit with the criteria stored in the register in advance for normal/abnormal judgment of pulse width and outputs a pulse error signal when they are not identical.

  • Patent number: 5298871
Abstract: A microcomputer having a signal generating circuit which generates pulse width modulation signals defined by a carrier wave, and which controls controlled portions according to pulse width modulating signals. The signal generating circuit comprises a carrier wave defining timer which outputs a value varying the same as a waveform providing a carrier wave, a control register which controls the time period of the timer, a reload register which holds a count value, control blocks which generate pulse width modulation signals according to the value of the timer and the count value of the reload register.
