  • Publication number: 20070242373
Abstract: A retractable door mirror to prevent wind noise during running of an automobile and achieving a simplified form of a base plate having a function as a stopper for regulating a retractable angle of a mirror body, thereby reducing production cost. The retractable door mirror has a mirror base and a mirror body rotatable relative to the mirror base. The mirror base includes a base plate in which stoppers for regulating retractable angles of the mirror body are attached to a plate body. The plate body in the base plate is located on the lower side of the mirror base, and the stoppers are arranged to penetrate the mirror base from the lower side of the mirror base and project to the upper side of the mirror base.

  • Publication number: 20070211354
Abstract: A retractable door mirror suppressing occurrence of flutter or the like between a shaft and a shaft support in a frame, without need for strict dimensional control. In the retractable door mirror a shaft stands upright on a mirror base and a shaft support provided in a mirror body is fitted on the shaft. Notches are formed in the tip part of the shaft support and the diameter of the shaft support is slightly smaller than the diameter of the shaft. The tip part of the shaft support with the notches therein serves as an elastic portion to restrain the shaft by elastic force of the shaft support itself.

  • Publication number: 20040017505
Abstract: A portable camera-phone has a strobe consisting of LEDs emitting light with a determined quantity of light emission, as an auxiliary light source for image pick-up of an object by a camera. In an image pick-up mode, the light emission quantity is adjusted repeatedly until a total exposure value matches an optimal exposure value, based on a difference between a total exposure value of an image signal output from the camera with the light emission quantity determined last time and a total exposure value when emission is OFF. Therefore, in the image pick-up mode, two reference values are used for determining the light emission quantity to have the total exposure value match the optimal exposure value, and hence the light emission quantity can be determined with high accuracy. As a result, an optimal exposure level can be obtained with high accuracy.

  • Patent number: 6679610
Abstract: An electrically powered retractable door mirror in which a horizontal worm gear can rotate securely and smoothly by making the horizontal worm gear less affected by building differences between a frame body and a motor installation component is provided. On the under surface of an outer plate 50, horizontal worm gear bearings 76, 78 are provided. In the horizontal worm gear bearings 76, 78, a notch 86 is formed. By fitting shank portions 36a, 36b of the horizontal worm gear 36 through the notch 86, by deflecting the horizontal worm gear bearings 76, 78, into a space inside the bearing 84 of the horizontal worm gear bearings 76, 78, the horizontal worm gear 36 is fixed on the horizontal worm gear bearings 76, 78. At the bottom inside the box 28, flexure control portions 80, 82 are provided.
