  • Patent number: 7449510
Abstract: It is intended to provide a biodegradable polyester resin composition which is excellent in gas barrier properties, mechanical strength and heat resistance and has Theological characteristics advantageously usable in molding a foamed article, etc., a process for producing the same, and a foamed article and a molded article using the same. The biodegradable polyester resin composition contains 100 parts by mass of a biodegradable polyester resin containing 59% mole or more of a hydroxycarboxylic acid unit, 0.01 to 10 parts by mass of a (meth)acrylic acid ester compound and 0.05 to 20 parts by mass of a layered silicate.

  • Publication number: 20040146540
Abstract: A cosmetic product with excellent tactility and slip quality during skin application is provided. This cosmetic product includes microparticles and other cosmetic raw materials. The microparticles are formed from a biodegradable polyester resin containing 50 mol % or more of lactic acid units in relation to the resin component, with the content of D-lactic acid among the lactic acid units being 0.1 to 25 mol %. 70% or more in entire number of the microparticles satisfies the ratio of the large diameter to the small diameter as being equal to or less than 1.5. The density of the microparticles is 1.0 to 10.0 g/cm3, the average particle diameter is 0.01 to 1000 &mgr;m, and the 10% deformation strength during compression is 5 MPa or more.

  • Patent number: 5495517
Abstract: In a radio communication apparatus having both portable telephone portion and radio paging portion, the portable telephone portion comprises a portable telephone transmission/reception unit 21, a control unit 23, a speech transceiver 25, a display unit 27, and an operation unit 29, while the radio paging portion comprises a radio paging receiver unit 31, the control unit 23, the display unit 27, the operation unit 29, a tone generation announcement unit 33, a silent announcement unit 35, an announcement mode memory 39, and a reception information memory 37. It is assumed that the operation unit 29 selects "a delayed announcement mode after completion of communication" and stores this mode in the announcement mode memory 39. In this event, when the radio paging operation is received during communication of the portable telephone portion, the control unit 23 makes the silent announcement unit 35 carry out call announcement in a silent mode and makes the reception information memory 37 memorize a message.
