  • Publication number: 20070102528
Abstract: The invention provides an electronic device provided with several ICs designed to reduce circuit space by reducing data transmission paths for connecting an external apparatus for developing or debugging software written into the several ICs and prevent misoperation of the device due to data collision on the data transmission path to which the external apparatus is connected. By connecting a connector for connection of a PC to a data reception line and data transmission line which connect a main microcontroller, DVD microcontroller and HDD microcontroller, data transmission paths to connect the PC are reduced and by controlling through voltage control resistors so that the signal level generated at an RXD terminal differs between times of data collision and normal operation and any one of signals of the DVD microcontroller, HDD microcontroller and PC can be read, misoperation in the event of data collision is prevented.

  • Publication number: 20050047753
Abstract: The present invention provides a recording/reproducing apparatus that can easily identify programs set for renewal recording in programs set for timer recording reservation. To a respective program set for renewal recording, a different reservation number is added as a specific identifying mark, and said reservation numbers are displayed on a monitor together with program information such as date and time for recording and so forth. Among recorded programs, programs set for renewal recording are added a renewal recording number as an identifying mark. To other programs, no identifying mark is added. Said renewal recording number is the same as the reservation number added to a program set for renewal recording at the time of reservation.

  • Publication number: 20040042764
Abstract: A recording/reproducing apparatus which can easily implement editing operations in a cut mode for deleting a first portion and a last portion of a video file. When a cut mode is started, a video file is reproduced in a repeat manner and a cut start point A is designated while observing the displayed. When reproduction is completed to the end, again reproduction is started from the beginning. While observing the displayed screen, a cut end point B is designated. The area ranging from the cut end point A to the cut end point B, including a file start point C and a file end point ID, can be deleted.
