  • Publication number: 20130300890
Abstract: An image processor includes a first acquirer that acquires a matching tap having a target pixel at the center, a second acquirer that acquires plural matching taps each having, at the center, one of pixels in a search area including the pixels surrounding the target pixel, a similarity identifier that identifies, among the matching taps acquired by the second acquirer, a similarity maximizing pixel representing a central pixel of the matching tap having the highest similarity to the matching tap acquired by the first acquirer, and a mixing controller that computes a pixel value of the target pixel by mixing a pixel value obtained by performing a predetermined arithmetic process on pixel values of a prediction tap having the target pixel at the center with a pixel value obtained by performing a predetermined arithmetic process on pixel values of a prediction tap having the similarity maximizing pixel at the center.

  • Publication number: 20120308146
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes: a noise reduction processing amount calculator configured to calculate a noise reduction processing amount based on input image data and previous-frame output image data subjected to data compression/decompression processing; a feedback ratio correction unit configured, based on compression error information, to output the uncorrected noise reduction processing amount calculated by the noise reduction processing amount calculator with regard to a pixel having a noise reduction feedback ratio less than 100%, and to correct the noise reduction processing amount with regard to a pixel having a noise reduction feedback ratio of 100% or more such that the feedback ratio is less than 100%, and to output the corrected noise reduction processing amount; and an adder configured to add the noise reduction processing amount output from the feedback ratio correction unit to the input image data to thereby obtain output image data.

  • Publication number: 20120293711
Abstract: There is provided an image processing apparatus that converts an interlaced signal to a progressive signal, including: a field difference calculating unit calculating a field difference that is a difference between consecutive fields in the interlaced signal; a field resolution calculating unit calculating a field resolution that is a resolution of a field in the interlaced signal; a field correlation determining unit determining correlation between the consecutive fields based on the field difference and the field resolution; and an interpolated image deciding unit deciding the fields to be used in an interpolation process for obtaining the progressive signal based on a determination result produced by the field correlation determining unit.

  • Patent number: 8017705
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for producing a syndiotactic propylene polymer having a syndiotactic pentad fraction (rrrr fraction) of not less than 85%, a melting point (Tm) within the range of 145-170° C. and a limiting viscosity [?] within the range of 0.1-10 dl/g by a solution polymerization method using a group 4 crosslinked metallocene compound, which is not accompanied by precipitation of a polymer (excluding white turbidity). Also disclosed is a production method which enables to continuously perform such a production.

  • Publication number: 20100069588
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a process for producing a syndiotactic propylene polymer with high polymerization activity and high efficiency by a solution polymerization method without deposition of polymers (excluding a white state), and a production process capable of conducting the above production continuously, provided that these processes could not be attained conventionally. The present invention is: a process for producing a syndiotactic propylene polymer having a syndiotactic pentad fraction (rrrr fraction), as measured by 13C-NMR, of at least 85%, a melting point (Tm), as measured by DSC, of from 145° C. to 170° C., and an intrinsic viscosity [?] of 0.1 to 10 dl/g, which process comprises a step (P1) of solution polymerizing propylene singly or propylene and at least one monomer selected from ethylene and an ?-olefin having 4 to 10 carbon atoms at a polymerization temperature (TR) of from 30° C. to 250° C.
