  • Patent number: 11261276
Abstract: Provided is a polymer flocculant which is capable of controlling the structure of a polymer that is a copolymerization product of a monomer (a) having a structure derived from formula (I) in each molecule and a water-soluble unsaturated monomer (b) having a polymerizable unsaturated bond in each molecule, and which has a branched or cross-linking structure, and is excellent in water-solubility and water dispersibility, In formula (I), R1 and R2 are respectively a linear or branched functional group configured of atoms selected from the group consisting of carbon not having a carbon-carbon unsaturated bond, oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen; W is a non-metal element of the group 15; X and Y are each a linear or branched functional group configured of atoms selected from the group consisting of carbon, oxygen, nitrogen, and hydrogen, and each have at least one carbon-carbon unsaturated bond, provided that X and Y have different structures; and Z is a chlorine ion, a bromine ion, or an iodine ion.

  • Publication number: 20210206896
Abstract: There is provided a copolymer for suppressing protein adsorption, which contains a constitutional unit (a) represented by Formula 1 and a constitutional unit (b) represented by Formula 2, and which is used for producing an article that comes in contact with a protein. In the formula, R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, R2 represents an OR33, a halogen atom, COR34, COOR35, CN, CONR36R37, or R38, where R33 to R37 each independently represent a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alicyclic group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted non-aromatic heterocyclic group, a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkaryl group, or a substituted or unsubstituted organosilyl group, and R38 represents a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group or a substituted or unsubstituted heteroaryl group.

  • Patent number: 9903986
Abstract: A light extraction film for EL elements enables a surface light emitting body to have a good balance between suppression of emission angle dependence of the wavelength of emitted light and improvement of light extraction efficiency and luminance in the normal direction. A surface light emitting body has improved light extraction efficiency and luminance in the normal direction, while being suppressed in emission angle dependence of the wavelength of emitted light. A light extraction film for EL elements comprises a recessed and projected structure having a plurality of spherical projections, each containing a resin and fine particles added into the resin. The content of the fine particles in the spherical projections is 22-55% by mass, and the average maximum diameter (Aave) of the bottom portions of the spherical projections and the volume average particle diameter (P) of the fine particles satisfy the following mathematical formula (1).

  • Publication number: 20150207104
Abstract: A laminate is described, including a substrate, an undercoat layer on the substrate, and an inorganic film on the undercoat layer. The material of the inorganic film is at least one material of a conductive metal oxide and a metal nitride. In an image obtained by Fourier transforming an image obtained by using an atomic force microscope to take a picture of a surface of the inorganic film, the azimuth angle of the image obtained from the Fourier transformation from the center of the image toward the direction of 12 o'clock is set to 0°. In approximate curves of 36 brightness value plots obtained by radially plotting the brightness values every 10° from 0°, a maximum value is observed in 18 or more of the approximate curves.
