    Abstract: An enclosure for an electronic apparatus includes an enclosure body defining an opening. The enclosure allows a panel member to cover over the opening from the outside of the enclosure body. One is allowed to design the panel member regardless of the shape of the opening. This results in a widened variety of design for the enclosure body, namely the enclosure for an electronic apparatus. The enclosure is thus allowed to enjoy an enhanced appearance.

    Abstract: Guiding pieces on a bracket cover is engaged with attachment claws on a bracket body. This engagement serves to hold the bracket cover on the bracket body when the bracket cover is set at a first position. When the bracket cover is set at a second position, the engagement between an engagement piece and a hook piece serves to cooperate with the engagement between the guiding pieces and the attachment claws so as to hold the bracket cover on the bracket body. The bracket cover is firmly held on the bracket body when the bracket cover is set at the second position. The bracket cover is thus reliably prevented from detachment from the bracket body.

    Abstract: An enclosure assembly allows a hinge bracket to realize establishment of the opened attitude or the closed attitude of a second enclosure relative to a first enclosure. The second enclosure rotates relative to the hinge bracket around the second rotation axis. The second enclosure in this manner changes its attitude relative to the first enclosure. The hinge bracket stays where it is. The hinge bracket does not rotate. The position of the light sources is thus kept unchanged. The position of the light is maintained regardless of a change in the attitude of the second enclosure around the second rotation axis. The enclosure for an electronic apparatus is thus allowed to enjoy an enhanced appearance. This leads to an enhanced appearance of the electronic apparatus.

    Abstract: A camera module unit includes a printed wiring board overlaid on a shielding enclosure. A camera module is supported on the surface of the shielding enclosure. The camera module is located inside a recess defined in the printed wiring board. A shielding metal plate covers over the camera module. An elastic piece is defined in the shielding metal plate. The elastic piece is resiliently received on the surface of the shielding enclosure. The shielding metal plate realizes a sufficient shielding for the camera module in the camera module unit. Electric current is allowed to easily run from the charged shielding metal plate to the shielding enclosure through the elastic piece. The camera module is supported on the shielding enclosure inside the recess. The height of the camera module is reduced above the printed wiring board.

    Abstract: An electronic apparatus of the clamshell type includes a hinge bracket receiving the back surface of a display enclosure. The hinge bracket takes a closed attitude, where the display enclosure is superposed on a main body enclosure, to an opened attitude, where the display enclosure is flipped to open relative to the main body enclosure. When the display enclosure is set at a specific angle position during establishment of the closed attitude of the hinge bracket, the screen of the display panel is partly uncovered outside the edge of the main body enclosure. The user of the electronic apparatus is allowed to look at an image or images on a partial screen. Such a partial screen provides the functions identical to those of a so-called sub-display panel. A conventional sub-display can be omitted. The electronic apparatus is allowed to enjoy a wide variety of design.

    Abstract: A light emitting element is mounted on the surface of a board. The light emitting element emits light. The light passes through a translucent optical member. The light enters the translucent optical member through a incident surface. The lines of protrusions make the incident surface jagged. The jagged surface resulting from the protrusions enables diffusion of the light entering through the incident surface. The light spreads along the surface of the board. Simultaneously, the emitted light is partly reflected on the incident surface. The reflected light is reflected on a reflecting surface placed behind the light emitting element. The reflected light then enters the translucent optical member. The translucent optical member is thus allowed to illuminate over a wide range with a sufficient brightness. An impressive illumination can be realized.
