    Abstract: A packet communication device includes a search unit that searches, when having received a packet, for a combination of a label that identifies a transfer path of the packet and an output unit that outputs the packet to a physical line to which the transfer path is set. Further, the packet communication device includes an identifying unit that identifies a plurality of combinations including a common output unit that is the same output unit combined with a plurality of labels from among the combinations searched by the search unit. Further, the packet communication device includes a multiplex unit that multiplexes the plurality of labels combined with the common output unit in the packet to be output from the common output unit to the physical line when a plurality of combinations including the common output unit has been identified by the identifying unit.

    Abstract: A base station device includes a transmission and reception unit, a no-communication time count unit, an assignment unit, and a duration adjustment unit. The transmission and reception unit transmits and receives user data to and from a mobile terminal. The no-communication time count unit counts the no-communication time in which the transmission and reception of the user data has been interrupted in the mobile terminal. When the no-communication time becomes longer than the duration in which the assignment of the frequency band to the mobile terminal is continued, the assignment unit releases the frequency band assigned to the mobile terminal. When the no-communication time is longer than the duration, and the no-communication time is shorter than the sum of the duration and the monitor time in which it is monitored whether the no-communication time continues after the release of the frequency band, the duration adjustment unit adjusts the duration.

    Abstract: A mobile IP communication system includes a home agent 1 and a plurality of foreign agents 6a-6c. The home agent 1 manages the location of a mobile node 4. The mobile node 4 transmits a location registration request to the foreign agent 6a. The foreign agent 6a transmits the location registration request to the home agent 1 via a path routed trough a router R1, in accordance with a routing table. When there is congestion in the path routed through the router R1, the foreign agent 6a transfers the location registration request to the foreign agent 6b. The foreign agent 6b transfers the location registration request to the home agent 1.
