  • Publication number: 20110221286
Abstract: An electric rotating machine includes a stator, a rotor, and a housing. The stator includes a stator core and a stator coil formed by laminating magnetic steel sheets. Each of the magnetic steel sheets has through-holes that are formed to penetrate the magnetic steel sheet in the axial direction of the stator core. All of the magnetic steel sheets are divided into groups each of which includes axially-adjacent n of the magnetic steel sheets, where n is an integer not less than 2. For each of the groups, corresponding n of the through-holes of the n magnetic steel sheets of the group communicate with one other to form an inside coolant passage. The inside coolant passage fluidically connects an outside coolant passage, which is formed between the housing and the radially outer surface of the stator core, with a corresponding one of the slots of the stator core.

  • Publication number: 20100185351
Abstract: A hybrid vehicle includes an engine that is an internal combustion engine, a motor generator that is a rotating electric machine used together with the engine for driving the vehicle, an output shaft transmitting power to a wheel, a transmission member coupled to the output shaft, a power split device splitting the output from the engine to the motor generator and transmission member, a detection device detecting irregularities on a road, and a control unit reducing, when the detected result by the detection device indicates generation of periodic torque variation at the output shaft, the output from the engine based on the detected result. Accordingly, a hybrid vehicle that does not require a torque limiter is provided.

  • Publication number: 20100060074
Abstract: In an inner wall surface of a casing, grooves are formed that correspond to end faces of an outer rotor and an inner rotor, and seal members are disposed within the grooves, the seal members presses against the end faces of the outer rotor and the inner rotor. Inclined portions are provided in sealing portions of resin members of seal members, the sealing portions covering a closed portion. With this configuration, an internal pressure in the closed portion causes the inclined portions to separate from an outer rotor and an inner rotor when a brake fluid pressure within the closed portion increases to the point that the brake fluid is excessively compressed, releasing the brake fluid that is inside the closed portion. It is therefore possible to prevent the brake fluid pressure from increasing excessively within the closed portion.

  • Patent number: 7399171
Abstract: The curvature of a circular arc constituted by a side of a suction groove is made larger than that of a circular arc constituted by a side of a discharge groove. Thus, when the suction groove and the discharge groove are viewed in the axial direction of a drive shaft, the distance between the suction groove and the discharge groove in the radial direction of a rotary portion is short in a region intersecting with a line W perpendicular to a centerline, and increases in accordance with a decrease in distance from containment portions. It is therefore possible to ensure a sufficient distance between the discharge and suction grooves and enhance a total fluid pressure generated therebetween, and the contact surface pressure that is necessitated by a second side plate to obtain a press-back force when being in contact with an outer rotor and an inner rotor is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20060224393
Abstract: A management computer (21) is placed in a home country, and an instructor terminal (31) and a driver terminal (32) are placed in a delivery area overseas. The management computer (21) generates screen information, displayed in a domestic language and including a delivery instruction for a package, and transmits the screen information toward the instructor terminal (31) and the driver terminal (32). The instructor terminal (31) or the like, specifies a language, to be used in an area to which a delivery destination belongs, from the address of the delivery destination included in the delivery instruction in the received screen information, and translates the screen information in the specified language, then displays it. When a display language is designated, the instructor terminal (31) or the like translates the screen information in the designated language and displays it.

  • Patent number: 6905321
Abstract: In a rotary pump for a braking apparatus, a discharge trench is formed on an axial direction end surface of a second side plate that forms a mechanical seal. As a result, rotors are pressed back toward a side of a first side plate by a discharge pressure of brake fluid channeled to the discharge trench. Accordingly, a force pressing the rotors toward the second side plate is reduced and frictional resistance is reduced.

  • Patent number: 6749272
Abstract: In a rotary pump in which axial end surfaces of outer and inner rotors is in pressurized direct contact with an axial end surface of a second side plate to form a mechanical sealing, both of the axial end surfaces of the outer and inner rotors and the axial end surface of the second side plate are provided with radial line grinding stripes. Teeth gap portions formed by the outer and inner rotors in mesh communicate with an outer circumference gap between the circumference of the outer rotor and inner circumference of a center plate and also with a shaft hole of the inner rotor through extremely slight gaps formed by concave and convex of the radial line grinding stripes so that contact surface between the outer and inner rotors and the second side plate is well lubricated to reduce torque loss.
