  • Patent number: 6073511
Abstract: A tip of the shift lever 5 is connected with the head member 10 and is freely swingable in the up and down directions around the second swing center axis 12 and is made integrally with the head member 10 to swing freely in the right and left directions around the first swing center axis 6. While the click ball 18 in a tip of the head member 10 is pushed against the click groove 19, the rotating position of the shift lever 5 is engaged with any one position of the neutral N, the first forward position F1, the second forward position F2, the first reverse position R1, or the second reverse position R2 and the shift switch is changed corresponding to each position by the tip of the head member 10.

  • Patent number: 5786554
Abstract: A slider 13 is operated by a lever and provided with a neutral recess 23, a forward recess 24, and a reverse recess 25 which are adapted to serve as a compulsory separation means. Actuating members 16, 17, and 18 are disposed to enter the corresponding recesses and are provided with conductive plates 32, 40, and 46, respectively. Movable contacts 35, 41, and 47 are mounted on the conductive plates, whereby each movable contact is adapted to close any of the corresponding stationary contacts 36, 37, 42, 43, 48, and 49 only when each actuating member enters the corresponding neutral recess 23, forward recess 24, or reverse recess 25, while the other movable contacts are compulsorily separated from the corresponding stationary contacts.

  • Patent number: 5496978
Abstract: A spring holder is engaged with a lower end portion of a cancel cam integrally rotatable with a steering shaft. A cam spring is interposed between the spring holder and a cancel cam. A lower end portion of the spring holder is supported on an upper side clip which secures a bearing supported around the steering shaft. When the cancel cam rotates integrally with the steering shaft, the upper side clip supporting the spring holder also rotates integrally with the steering shaft, and there is no sliding portion in the spring holder and the cam spring.
