  • Patent number: 7173704
Abstract: A measuring device for immunochromatography test piece comprising an irradiation optical system for irradiating measurement light onto an immunochromatography test piece, and a detection optical system for detecting reflected light from the immunochromatography test piece under irradiation with the measurement light. The irradiation optical system comprises a semiconductor light emitting element, a beam shaping member, a lens, a first baffle portion, a second baffle portion, and a third baffle portion. The beam shaping member shapes light from the semiconductor light emitting element, into a beam of a beam section extending in a direction substantially parallel to a colored line formed on the immunochromatography test piece. The lens focuses the beam from the beam shaping member on the immunochromatography test piece. The first baffle portion removes stray light, which is disposed between the semiconductor light emitting element and the beam shaping member.

  • Patent number: 7038778
Abstract: A light from a light source is transmitted through a sample cell and is made incident into a spectroscopic portion. The spectroscopic portion comprises interference filters which transmit light components different in wavelengths and photodiodes corresponding to the respective interference filters. Dielectric films to compose an interference filter have relatively satisfactory features to reflect a light component of wavelengths other than a light component of a wavelength to be transmitted. At each interference filter, an incident light is split into a light component to be transmitted and a light component to be reflected. By making the reflected light component into an incident light into a following-order interference filter, light components of nine wavelength types are detected.

  • Patent number: 6879399
Abstract: A measuring device includes an irradiation optical system and a detection optical system. The irradiation optical system includes a light-emitting element and a mixing rod. The detection optical system includes a lens and an imaging element. Light from the light-emitting element enters into the mixing rod, where it is mixed. The light mixed inside the mixing rod is irradiated onto an immunochromatography test piece as measurement light. The light transmitted by the immunochromatography test piece is formed as an image on an acceptance surface of the imaging element, by means of the lens. The imaging element captures the image formed by the lens at the acceptance surface.

  • Patent number: 6819422
Abstract: A measuring device comprises an irradiation optical system and a detection optical system. The irradiation optical system comprises a light-emitting element. The detection optical system comprises a cylindrical lens and an imaging element. The cylindrical lens is disposed in such a manner that the direction of a generating line thereof intersects with the direction of travel of the antigens or antibodies in an immunochromatography teat piece. The cylindrical lens creates an image of a pattern formed so as to extend in a direction intersecting with the direction of travel of the antigens or antibodies, on the imaging element. The imaging element detects the image formed by the cylindrical lens.
