  • Patent number: 10609306
Abstract: From among two images and whose imaging timings are the same and imaging directions are different, one image whose imaging direction has a predetermined relation with that of the other image is specified as a target to be divided, and this target image is divided into a first partial image and a second partial image. Then, the first partial image and the second partial image are combined with the edges of the other image located in the direction perpendicular to the imaging direction, respectively.

  • Patent number: 10587803
Abstract: A still image mode for recording still images or a moving image mode for recording moving images is sequentially judged as to whether or not communication with a remote control device has been disconnected (wireless connection status). When the disconnection of the communication with the remote control device is detected, the current imaging mode is automatically switched to an interval imaging mode with its base imaging mode such as a still image mode or a moving image mode being maintained. During the disconnection period, that is, until the re-establishment of the communication is detected, an operation of recording a still image or a moving image is repeated at predetermined time intervals.

  • Publication number: 20180151198
Abstract: A moving image editing apparatus includes the following. A recognizer recognizes an emotion of a person recorded in a moving image from the moving image as an editing target. A specifier specifies a timewise portion of the moving image to be edited which is a timewise position different from a timewise position in which the recognizer recognizes a predetermined emotion. • Patent number: 9743048
Abstract: A CPU of a camera unit controls a communication section to transmit live view images captured by an imaging section to a remote control unit. Further, in the case of receiving a rotation angle of the remote control unit (an angle with respect to the horizontal direction of a display surface of a display section of the remote control unit) transmitted from the remote control unit, the CPU sets a trimming frame for an image captured by the imaging section based on the rotation angle. In the case of receiving an image-taking instruction from the remote control unit, the CPU crops the image along a trimming frame at that point of time and stores the cropped image in a recording medium.

  • Patent number: 8531532
Abstract: When directed to transmit data in a personal computer (1), a document image data generating section (22) generates document image data obtained by imaging a document content based on document data for every page. An index image generating section (23) composites a file name of the document data and icon image data corresponding to application software by which the document data is created, and thereby generates index image data. The folder generating section (26) generates a PC folder based on the document image data, the index image data, and the management data, and generated by a management file generating section (24) transmits the PC folder to a digital camera (51) via a data transmitting section (27).

  • Patent number: 8249313
Abstract: A digital camera picks up an image of an object for face authentication prior to each of, for example, continuous photographing operations, and operates as follows if performing an actual photographing process only when a face of a designated person can be recognized in the acquired image. If the face of the designated person can be recognized at an arbitrary timing and the actual photographing process is performed, the digital camera changes a plurality of recognition conditions at the arbitrary timing, thereby reducing face recognition accuracy used if the face of the designated person is recognized at a time of second and following face recognitions. By reducing the face recognition accuracy, the second and following face recognitions can be performed at high speed.

  • Patent number: 8072497
Abstract: When a digital camera 1 is being swung, the CPU 10 judges whether or not a block group having motion vectors which are varyingly different from the motion vectors of a peripheral area 32 in a field angle photographing area as shown in FIG. 3A exists in a center area 31 as shown in FIG. 3B. When judged that a block group having varyingly different motion vectors exists in the center area 31, the digital camera 1 determines this block group as an observed photographic subject area. Subsequently, when the scalar quantity of the largest motion vector, among the motion vectors of each block in the determined observed photographic subject area, is smaller than a threshold v, the digital camera 1 judges that the user is attempting to perform a follow shot and there is no blurring of the photographic subject, and performs automatic shooting.
