  • Patent number: 5944150
Abstract: A brake for a hoist gear is provided with a pair of brake shoes for braking a disk to be braked arranged on a winding drum side by pressing both sides of the disk. Floating pin fitting piece portions protrude integrally from a body of a bearing supporting the winding drum. A caliper is attached to the fitting piece portions through floating pins. Axis points of the floating pins are arranged in point symmetry of approximately 180.degree. in respect of an axis point of a push rod inserted into the caliper in order to uniformly contact the disk face.

  • Patent number: 4610343
Abstract: A centrifugal clutch which can transmit rotation of a primary shaft on the input side to a secondary shaft on the output side joining them by utilizing a centrifugal force which increases with the increase of the rotation of the primary shaft. A shoe divided into plural segments is arranged around a rotor which is fixed to the primary shaft; arcuate dents are made on the inside of the shoe and the outside of the rotor in such a way that each of the dents on both sides is placed face-to-face in pairs and pillars can be put between their couples. The pillars are made of an elastic material and around the shoe is a spring, so that the shoe always clamped together to the rotor with the pillars being put between them. A cylinder to which the secondary shaft is fixed encloses the shoe.

  • Patent number: 4217775
Abstract: The invention relates to a load testing apparatus comprising disks, a rotary shaft connectable with a machine to be tested, disk brakes for braking the disks, and a detector adapted to indicate the amount of load applied to the machine to be tested by detecting the rotational force under pressure with interposition of the supporting members of the disk brakes at the time of braking, thereby enabling to test the characteristics and durability of engines, motors, agricultural machines, decelerators, transmissions, clutches, torque converters, chains, belts, couplings, compressed air or hydraulic motors and the like, as well as to conduct an exhaust gas test and power test of vehicles, particularly enabling to detect the output horsepower applied to the machine to be tested from the rotational force and the number of rotations per minute.
