  • Patent number: 10389653
Abstract: A request distribution system connected with a first and second processing system to adjust resources for use in request processing according to a received request amount includes a reception unit that receives a request, and a determination and a transmission unit. The determination unit determines a processing system as a transmission destination. The transmission unit transmits the request to the determined processing system. When a processing system for processing a request from a predetermined network system is switched from the first to the second processing system, the determination unit determines the first and second processing systems as respective transmission destinations so that the requests are distributed to the first and second processing systems between a start and end of the switching. When the second processing system is determined as the transmission destination per the amount of requests, resources to be used in the second processing system request processing are adjusted.

  • Patent number: 10120723
Abstract: An information processing system for processing jobs managed by a plurality of queues includes a first input unit, a determination unit, and a second input unit. The first input unit inputs a first job regularly generated in the information processing system to a first queue. The determination unit determines a queue to which a second job should be input, out of a plurality of queues, wherein the second job is generated upon reception of a request corresponding to an input via a screen provided by the information processing system. The second input unit inputs the second job to a queue determined to be an input target of the second job by the determining. The determination unit determines the queue to which the second job should be input based on a processing state of data to be processed for the second job.

  • Patent number: 7400319
Abstract: A pair of piezoelectric substrates, the length of which is shorter than the length of one side in the longitudinal direction of the operation panel or the supporting board, is respectively fixed to one side from the diagonal position along the longitudinal direction. At the time of detecting an inputting operation, a drive voltage is applied and the entire operation panel or the supporting board is vibrated. Even when the four corners of the operation panel or the supporting board are supported by the housing for accommodating the tablet apparatus or supported by the display device so that the vibration of the four corners is restricted, since either of the pair of piezoelectric substrates, which becomes a vibration source, a feeling of inputting operation can be transmitted to an operator by the vibration, the amplitude of which is not less than a predetermined value, irrespective of the inputting operation position.

  • Patent number: 7343343
Abstract: A method for purchasing an item using a terminal apparatus connected to a supplier server through a communication line. The method includes accumulating data associated with a user request to purchase an item at the supplier server. The supplier server contacts a credit company server to obtain a credit contract associated with the user request. The credit company server may then send a credit contract to the user, if the user is authorized to receive credit. Another aspect provides a method for electronic purchase of a good. This method includes selecting a credit payment method for the good being purchased using a user terminal coupled to a server. The server then determines payment options associated with the credit payment method.

  • Patent number: 7026180
Abstract: A squeegee is slid over a metal mask plate so as to fill a sealing resin in a resin inflow space through a through hole, and the sealing resin, deposited on an outer surface of an electronic part that includes a vibrating part, is thermally set. A through hole that corresponds to an electronic part is formed in a metal mask plate. The through hole includes a lower smaller through hole and an upper larger through hole communicating with an upper side of the lower smaller through hole, and a step portion is formed within the through hole. A relief recess is provided in a region of a metal mask plate including at least a projected region in which an operating area is projected onto a surface of the metal mask plate opposing the touch panel in a state in which the metal mask plate covers the touch panel.

  • Publication number: 20050219230
Abstract: A plurality of signal conductor wires connected respectively to signal lead patterns, and a plurality of power conductor wires connected respectively to power lead patterns are formed on a connector tail and are arranged to extend in a leading-out direction. A pitch of the power conductor wires is twice larger than a pitch of the signal conductor wires. A sufficient insulating gap is secured between the adjacent power conductor wires, and therefore there is no fear that the short-circuiting occur even when a high drive voltage is applied.
