  • Patent number: 7248793
Abstract: A lens-fitted photo film unit provides a daylight photography mode to select no flash emission and the small stop, a daylight synchro photography mode to select normal flash emission and the small stop, and a night view synchro photography mode to select reduced flash emission and the large stop. The small stop is composed of the small stop aperture of f/16 and an ND filter of transmittance of 25% to be attached to cover the small stop aperture. The shutter speed is set at 1/64 sec. in any modes. The photo film preloaded in the lens-fitted photo film unit has ISO sensitivity 3200. The stable photographing is achieved under the wide range of brightness by the changeover of the stop, without the change of the shutter speed. In brightness of EV 9 to 11, the exposure amount becomes proper either in the daylight photography mode and in the night view synchro photography mode.

  • Patent number: 7087671
Abstract: A front cover, a rear cover and a base portion are crushed into a crushed material, and further pelletized into a recycled plastic pellet. The recycled plastic pellet is used as a part of a molding material to produce mold plastic parts for a photosensitive material. When the molding material is melt in heat, a thermoplastic resin is deteriorated by heat or modified. Therefore, properties and qualities of recycled plastic mold parts are less than those of new ones. Further, when the thermoplastic resin is deteriorated by heat, the photosensitive material reacts with the thermoplastic resin to decomposed products having an bad influence on photographic characteristics. In order to prevent the deterioration by heat, oxidation inhibiting materials are added, and in order to absorb the decomposed products, carbon blacks are added.

  • Patent number: 7082263
Abstract: A flash device for a lens-fitted photo film unit pre-loaded with unexposed photo film is provided. A main capacitor stores charge. A flash emitter emits flash light. A flash circuit board charges the main capacitor, and drives the flash emitter by discharging the main capacitor in response to an exposing operation. A tightly closed flash case is secured to the lens-fitted photo film unit, for containing the main capacitor, the flash emitter and the flash circuit board. Also, the lens-fitted photo film unit includes a sync switch for generating a trigger signal in response to the exposing operation. Two switch contact points are disposed outside the flash case, for receiving the trigger signal from the sync switch. The two switch contact points disable discharge of the main capacitor while the flash case is away from the lens-fitted photo film unit, and are short-circuited for discharge of the main capacitor upon supply of the trigger signal while the flash case is secured to the lens-fitted photo film unit.

  • Patent number: 7065294
Abstract: A lens-fitted photo film unit is pre-loaded with photo film, and includes a viewfinder adapted for observing an object. A selector button is operable externally, for being shifted to a standard position and a telephoto position. A view region changer lever sets the viewfinder in a standard view field when the selector button is in the standard position, and sets the viewfinder in a telephoto view field when the selector button is in the telephoto position, the telephoto view field being included in the standard view field. An information exposure unit photographically records a telephoto discernment PAR code to an information exposure region in the photo film when the selector button is in the telephoto position. The telephoto discernment PAR code includes at least three dots, for designating production of a pseudo telephoto print from a region in an imaging frame in the photo film corresponding to the telephoto view field.

  • Patent number: 6798983
Abstract: A shutter device has a shutter drive lever striking a shutter blade to expose an exposure opening, a mooring lever, a cam, and a speed governor. The speed governor includes an escapement wheel with integrally formed two gear wheels, an anchor, and a movable mounting board on which the escapement wheel and anchor are mounted. One of the gear wheels of the escapement wheel is engaged with a claw of the anchor to slow down a rotational speed of the escapement wheel. The other gear wheel is engaged with a shutter speed adjustment gear formed in a periphery of the shutter drive lever. The shutter drive lever rotates at the same rotational speed as the escapement wheel, so that exposure time becomes long. When flash charge is turned off, the mounting board moves to an evacuation position in which the escapement wheel is disengaged with the shutter speed adjustment gear.

  • Patent number: 6741806
Abstract: A stop lever is rotatable on a light shielding tunnel with an exposure aperture. When the stop lever is at a fast shutter speed position, a support pad is located below a lower metal plate of a synchronization switch of a flash circuit. The support pad holds the lower metal plate to limit rotation of a shutter blade, so that photography is carried out at a fast shutter speed. The synchronization switch is turned on after the exposure aperture is fully open. When the stop lever is at a slow shutter speed position, a support pad is away from the lower metal plate to obtain a slow shutter speed. It is possible to obtain a fast shutter speed by providing a light shielding tunnel with a fixed stopper to limit rotation of the shutter speed, and a slow shutter speed by providing a light shielding tunnel without a stopper.

  • Patent number: 6733193
Abstract: A shutter device has a front blade which is biased by a spring to a closed position for closing an exposure aperture, and a rear blade biased by a spring to an open position for opening the exposure aperture. A shutter drive lever kicks the front blade and the rear blade successively while moving to one direction. As soon as the front blade opens the exposure aperture, the rear blade closes the exposure aperture. And while the rear blade is biased by the spring to return to the initial position before opening the exposure aperture, the front blade is biased by the spring to close the exposure aperture. When the front blade and the rear blade return to the initial position by the urge of the spring, the two blades return with partly overlapped each other.

  • Patent number: 6655859
Abstract: A shutter device loaded in a fixed focus camera for making soft-focus photograph includes a swingable shutter drive member and two shutter blades for opening and closing a shutter opening. When the shutter drive member swings in response to photographing operation, the shutter blades rotate oppositely to each other such that the shutter opening gradually appears. While opening, the shutter blades continuously form a small stop. After a flashlight is emitted during forming the small stop, the shutter blades rotate moreover and the shutter opening is entirely exposed. Then the shutter blades close to cover the shutter opening entirely.

  • Patent number: 6618561
Abstract: A lens-fitted photo film unit is provided with a movable stop plate formed with small and middle stop apertures. The small stop aperture has a smaller diameter, and the middle stop aperture is larger than the small stop aperture. A fixed large stop aperture, which is larger than the middle stop aperture, is disposed behind the movable stop plate. The movable stop plate is moved to position the small stop aperture at a photographic optical axis when subject brightness is a predetermined reference value or more. Similarly, the middle stop aperture is positioned at the optical axis when the subject brightness is less than the reference value and a flash switch is turned off. Further, the fixed large stop aperture is set to the optical axis when the subject brightness is less than the reference value and the flash switch is turned on.
