  • Patent number: 5769333
Abstract: A system including a method and an apparatus is disclosed for effectively separating a foamed heat-insulating material, such as insulated wall sections from used refrigeration equipment, into a foaming gas and a heat-insulating resin without any alteration and recovering them. A peeling portion for peeling a foamed heat-insulating material from a composite material containing the foamed heat-insulating material is included in a crusher provided with a high speed rotor having a plurality of hammers and a casing surrounding the rotor. A sorting portion is provided for sorting the foamed heat-insulating material with a tilting type wind force sorter having a limited tilting angle and a limited height of a wind tunnel. A pulverizing portion is provided for pulverizing the sorted foamed heat-insulating material and for separating a foaming gas therefrom. A condensing portion is provided for cooling and liquefying the separated foaming gas.

  • Patent number: 5278268
Abstract: The invention provides an organic glass for optical parts, in which the main polymer component is constituted by a bipolymer consisting of (a) a diallyl ester of diphenic acid, and (b) an urethane acrylate having vinyl groups introduced into both its ends by the reaction of a chainlike polyurethane having hydroxyl groups at both its ends, obtained by the reaction of a diisocyanate component with a diol component, with acrylic or methacrylic acid. This organic glass for optical parts has a high refractive index and excels in transmittance, impact resistance and other physical properties as well, so that it can be applied to optical parts to which only inorganic glass has been applied so far in the art.

  • Patent number: 4598133
Abstract: Organic glass having a high refractive index and excellent other physical properties and being suitable as materials for optical parts such as lenses and prisms. The organic glass comprises a copolymer obtained by adding a polymerization initiator to a mixture of three monomer components of diallyl isophthalate, a benzoate ester with an unsaturated alcohol, and a methacrylate ester and then polymerizing the mixture.

  • Patent number: 4138035
Abstract: Discharge of a high-pressure gas-occluding liquid from a pressureproof container holding therein said liquid in a compressed state is effected by a method which comprises connecting said pressureproof container through the medium of a valve to a pressureproof receptacle, allowing the liquid to transfer into said pressureproof receptacle, diminishing the pressure within said pressureproof receptacle for thereby separating the occluded high-pressure gas from the liquid and subsequently releasing the liquid alone from the receptacle.
