  • Patent number: 11146773
Abstract: A display request including designation related to a display state of a stereoscopic shape in a three-dimensional space is transmitted from a receiving apparatus 200 to a transmitting apparatus 100, and the transmitting apparatus 100 extracts point cloud data of a part corresponding to the display request from among the point cloud data stored in a point cloud data storage unit 10 in response to the display request and transmits the extracted point cloud data to the receiving apparatus 200. Accordingly, only the point cloud data of the part which is necessary for the display state of the stereoscopic shape which is actually displayed in the three-dimensional space by the receiving apparatus 200 is transmitted, and thus it is possible to transmit only the point cloud data necessary for display within a practically acceptable short time on a communication network 300 even though the entire data amount of the point cloud data stored in the point cloud data storage unit 10 is huge.

  • Patent number: 7170596
Abstract: An atomic absorption spectrophotometer including a self reverse type hollow cathode lamp and a photomultiplier tube further includes a preliminary tester for measuring a strength of a signal L when a smaller current is supplied to the hollow cathode lamp and a strength of a signal H when a larger current is supplied while a voltage V applied between a cathode and an anode of the photomultiplier is changed. It also includes an optimal voltage detector for detecting a value V0 of the voltage V at which a super ratio U (which is defined as a ratio of a first ratio L0/H0 to a second ratio L1/H1) is closest to unity under a condition that two values V1 and V0 of the voltage V are arbitrarily chosen so that a ratio H1/H0 or a ratio L1/L0 is a predetermined value.

  • Patent number: 6377899
Abstract: For calibrating a spectrophotometer having a monochromator with a rotary mechanism to rotate a diffraction grating for producing a monochromatic beam of light of a specified target wavelength, transmission errors by the rotary mechanism are preliminarily measured to obtain an error curve having peaks corresponding to feed angles. A smallest angular interval, greater than an allowable limit, between a pair of feed angles corresponding to a mutually adjacent pair of peaks in the error curve is selected. One or more lamps emitting bright lines with wavelength interval which corresponds to motion of the rotary mechanism by less than one half of the selected smallest angular interval are used as a light source. Control values to be supplied to the rotary mechanism for obtaining monochromatic beams of light from the bright lines emitted from the selected lamps are determined by measurements.
