  • Patent number: 6684786
Abstract: A press plate mounting apparatus has a press plate placement portion capable of holding a press plate having a partially formed print face region, and a plate cylinder holding portion that rotatably holds a plate cylinder onto which the press plate is mounted. Positioning cross marks are provided in a non-print region of the press plate. The press plate placement portion includes a suction surface that sucks the print face region, and a scale member provided at a position outward of the suction surface and extending in a predetermined direction. The scale member is able to contact the locating cross marks when the press plate is held at a predetermined position. The scale member has a scale that makes it possible to visually check a positional deviation of the press plate in the predetermined direction.

  • Patent number: 6637078
Abstract: It relates to a slider for slider fastener with locking device where a sheet-like spring having a locking pawl at one end is fixed at the other end on a body. A bent portion of a spring portion of the fixed spring is exposed at a guide post, and a pull is mounted between the body and the spring so as to be raised or laid. A cam is provided on a lower face of an axle of the pull, and the axle slides on an inclined guide portion on the body. When the pull is laid forward of the body, a gap is formed between an edge of a through hole of a grip portion of the pull and the bent portion of the spring. Even if a load is applied to the pull in the horizontal direction or the vertical direction, this gap prevents the spring from plastic deformation, so that the spring is never plastically deformed under any use condition, thereby ensuring an excellent locking function.

  • Publication number: 20010004787
Abstract: The invention provides a side fastener comprising a fastener element in which a metallic coating layer is formed, the metallic coating layer being never scraped by a sliding of a slider. In a coil-shaped fastener element made of synthetic resin, a metallic coating layer is formed on the surface of a leg portion except an inverted portion and a coupling head with which a guide flange and a guide post of a slider come into contact. Therefore, no metallic coating layer is formed on a portion with which the guide flange and guide post of the slider come into contact. As a result, such an event that the metallic coating layer is scraped and that metallic powder is scattered is prevented, so that a fastener element having a beautiful metallic gloss can be used for a long term and a cheap, fashionable slide fastener is obtained. This invention can be applied to zigzag type, injection molded type and metal type fastener elements.

  • Patent number: 5841035
Abstract: A vortex flowmeter for calculating the flow rate of a measuring fluid flowing through a flow path using ultrasonic signals subjected to changes in the propagation time due to Karman vortices, comprising a reference signal generating device for outputting a plurality of reference signals of different phases; a signal analyzing device for outputting an input status signal by determining the relationship between the phases of the ultrasonic signals and each reference signal; a plurality of phase detectors for outputting phase signals by detecting the phase difference between the ultrasonic signals and the reference signals; and a channel selector for selecting the optimum phase signal using the input status signal and for outputting the optimum phase signal as a selection signal, wherein the flow rate signals are computed and outputted using the selected phase signal. The vortices are thus stably detected even when a phase change due to the vortices in the vortex flowmeter is large.

  • Patent number: 5271741
Abstract: Disclosed is a female socket contact of the type having a female electrical contact section adapted to mate with a corresponding male contact and a resilient contact plate provided in the female electrical contact section. Thin-walled sections are respectively formed in opposing side walls constituting the female electrical contact section so as to provide on the inner surface of the side walls recesses for inner-space enlargement, and the end edges of the resilient contact plate are respectively positioned in the recesses for inner-space enlargement, thereby providing a large resilient contact pressure. The resilient contact plate can be formed separately from or integrally with the socket contact.
