  • Patent number: 9511545
Abstract: There is provided a method of manufacturing a structural object, including using rapid prototyping technology, forming a structure body from a powder material whose main component is a water-soluble compound. The formed structure body is impregnated with an adhesive that provides adhesive function upon reaction with moisture contained in the structure body.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 9, 2012
Date of Patent: December 6, 2016
    Assignee: SONY CORPORATION
Inventors: Takeshi Matsui, Nobuhiro Kihara, Junichi Kuzusako, Tatsuya Minakawa, Kazuo Niizaka

  • Publication number: 20130064707
Abstract: A modeling apparatus includes a box holding mechanism, a box, a supply mechanism, and an elevation mechanism. The box includes a main body and a stage movably provided to the main body. The box is capable of accommodating powder and detachably provided to the box holding mechanism. The supply mechanism is configured to selectively supply liquid that bonds the powder together to a modeling enabled area inside the box. The elevation mechanism is configured to cause the stage to ascend and descend in the main body relative to the main body.

  • Publication number: 20120156516
Abstract: A three-dimensional modeling device, including: a stage having a powder material deposited thereon for lamination; a supply mechanism supplying the powder material for each one layer on the stage; a plurality of heads having a plurality of nozzles ejecting a liquid for formation of a model, respectively, and capable of ejecting the liquid to the powder material supplied onto the stage by the supply mechanism; and a moving mechanism moving the plurality of heads in different directions relative to the stage, respectively.

  • Patent number: 5764458
Abstract: A disk cartridge has a shutter. The shutter is slidably mounted on a shell body through a slider made of synthetic resin. The shutter has a plurality of pin-insertion holes on its mating surface. The slider has a plurality of connecting pins inserted into the pin-insertion holes, on its mating surface mating with the mating surface of the shutter. The connecting pins are formed at distal ends thereof with heads having larger diameters and support the shutter between the heads and the mating surface of the slider. The heads of the connecting pins are provided by plastic-deforming the distal ends of the connecting pins.

  • Patent number: 5691868
Abstract: A disk cartridge has a shutter. The shutter is slidably connected to a shell body by a slider made of synthetic resin. The shutter has a plurality of pin-insertion holes on its mating surface. The slider has a plurality of connecting pins that are inserted into the pin-insertion holes of the shutter so that its mating surface mates with the mating surface of the shutter. The connecting pins are formed at distal ends thereof with heads having larger diameters than the pin insertion holes to support the shutter between the heads and the mating surface of the slider. The heads of the connecting pins are provided by plastic-deforming the distal ends of the connecting pins.
