  • Patent number: 7405709
Abstract: A magnetic core member, an antenna module, and a portable communication terminal having this, which have a configuration capable of satisfying enhancement of communication characteristics of antenna coils as well as their sufficient electromagnetic shielding function from a shield plate. A magnetic core member (4) is disposed between an antenna substrate having antenna coils (11), (12) formed therein and a conductive shield plate (3), and is formed by filling an insulating material (30) with a magnetic powder (31). The magnetic core member (4) has a two-layered structure including a first layer (4A) and a second layer (4B), thereby making a filling rate of the magnetic powder (31) in the first layer (4A) be lower than that of the magnetic powder (31) in the second layer (4B) so that a first surface (4a) on a side opposed to the antenna substrate (2) and a second surface (4b) on a side opposed to the shield plate (3) have magnetic properties different from each other.

  • Patent number: 7261240
Abstract: A portable type information processing terminal device is provided which includes a substrate carrying a substantially annular antenna coil thereon, a signal processing integrated circuit element arranged inside the antenna coil, a magnetic plate arranged under the substrate and a metal plate arranged under the magnetic plate, which are integrally formed and arranged on one or more than one metal parts including a battery pack. The metal plate is used to substantially regulate the resonance frequency of the antenna coil so that it is allowed to be arranged in a cabinet of the portable device.

  • Patent number: 4621685
Abstract: A heat exchanger with a stack of alternating hollow panels and corrugated plates includes a unique arrangement for positive drainage of water which flows down onto lower headers of the hollow panels as a result of condensation of moisture contained in air, which is pumped through the heat exchanger. A substantially vertical drain channel is defined between facing outer surfaces of the lower headers of nearby hollow panels, so that the water is guided downwardly from the upper surfaces of the lower headers into a sump as well as along the sides of the lower headers.

  • Patent number: 4589265
Abstract: A heat exchanger includes a plurality of hollow panels arranged in a stack with fins interspersed therebetween and each having a fluid passageway therein and an upper header and a lower header at opposite sides of the fluid passageway. An end plate is applied to at least one end of the stack and formed with an inlet opening and an outlet opening in nearby positions which communicate to a fluid circulation path defined in the stack by the fluid passageways and the upper and lower headers of the hollow panels. An inlet and outer manifold block is mounted on the end plate for fluidly communicating the inlet opening of the end plate to an inlet conduit and the outlet opening to an outlet conduit.

  • Patent number: 4361860
Abstract: A magnetic transducer head employing magnetic alloys as a core material and a method of manufacturing the same are disclosed. A pair of core blocks made of magnetic alloys are bonded together by a glass to form an effective gap therebetween. A thin metal layer is formed on the surface of the core blocks which results in a transition layer of the metal accompanied with oxide of the metal between the core block and the glass upon heat treatment for glass bonding to strengthen the bonding.
