  • Publication number: 20220298332
Abstract: To provide natural rubber latex sponge with little pinking, and in particular deproteinized natural rubber latex sponge with low allergic properties. Natural rubber latex sponge is discolored when irradiated with light for 24 hours in an ammonia atmosphere of 0.03 g/l. The discoloration of the natural rubber latex sponge causes a color difference ?E*ab of 0 to 10 between before and after the irradiation. The natural rubber latex sponge is produced from deproteinized natural rubber latex or latex obtained by causing a protein decomposition enzyme to react with natural rubber latex to decompose proteins.

  • Patent number: 8408597
Abstract: A sewing thread of a sewn portion provided in an air chamber of an airbag is prevented from being cut during manufacturing, and damage to the airbag starting from an end of the sewn portion is suppressed. An inner connecting portion (30) provided in an air chamber of an airbag, at which opposing base fabrics are connected to each other, is formed of a first sewn portion (31) formed by sewing the base fabrics together so as to divide the air chamber, a second sewn portion (32) that surrounds an end (31T) of the first sewn portion (31) to protect it, and an adhesive layer (35) formed around the sewn portions (31) and (32). Ends (32T) of the second sewn portion (32) disposed on both sides of the first sewn portion (31) are formed such that they are continuously sewn toward an inner region (R) of the second sewn portion (32) along the end (31T) at a predetermined distance therefrom, such that they project further than the end (31T) of the first sewn portion (31), without intersecting the first sewn portion (31).

  • Patent number: 6465534
Abstract: A sponge including an elastic material having a lipid, such as an oil, a fat, or a combination thereof, integrally formed therewith. The elastic material includes an amount from between 0.5 to 20 parts by weight of the lipid, and the lipid is selected from the group consisting of esters of fatty acids, alkanes, squalane and derivatives thereof squalene, bisabolol, animal hair oils and fats, wax, lanolin and combinations thereof to provide the sponge with a gentle feel. The sponge may also be made by first foam molding the sponge from an elastic material, impregnating the sponge with a water-dispersed lipid and allowing the sponge to dry for a predetermined amount of time so that the lipid is substantially inseparable from the elastic material.
