  • Patent number: 6543424
Abstract: In a fuel pump pressurizing fuel and supplying the fuel to a fuel injection valve of a vehicle engine, a hardened layer of at least one selected from a nitride layer, a carburated and quenched layer and a carbonitrided layer, and a metal compound layer, on a surface of the hardened layer, higher in corrosion resistance than the hardened layer are formed on one of slide surfaces contacting each other and sliding in fuel.

  • Publication number: 20030026715
Abstract: A turbocharger for an internal combustion engine, in which a bearing having excellent abrasion resistance without generating a black corrosion product in a high-temperature oil environment is provided. As bearing materials of a turbocharger, a copper alloy material containing, as main components, Cu, Zn, Al, Mn, and Si is employed. The elongating direction of an Mn—Si compound crystallized in the alloy material is set to the axial direction of a rotary shaft with respect to a radial bearing and is set to the direction perpendicular to the rotary shaft with respect to a thrust bearing.

  • Patent number: 5867679
Abstract: A parallel computer system includes a plurality of processors, each of which is placed in data communication with an interconnecting network. Pairs of a data signal and a data identification code, predetermined for the data signal, are received by each processor and stored in a memory. Structure is provided for reading a data signal belonging to one of the pairs having a data identification code designated by a data readout instruction.

  • Patent number: 4985827
Abstract: A computer comprising a circuit for writing a group of ordered data elements onto the main storage; a circuit for reading said group of data from the main storage; and a circuit which is connected to the writing circuit and to the reading circuit, and which ensures the sequence of main storage references between said writing circuit and said reading circuit such that said reading circuit will not read the data elements that have not yet been written by said writing circuit among said group of data elements.

  • Patent number: 4424675
Abstract: A control system for a turbocharger of an internal combustion engine, with the control system adapted to control a turbocharger having a turbine bypass valve in dependence upon a differential pressure between a turbo charging pressure supplied to a first pressure chamber and an atmospheric pressure supplied to a second pressure chamber. A pressure detecting device detects the turbocharging pressure, and pressure control valves shift the atmospheric pressure into the first pressure chamber of the pressure device and the pressure existing between a throttle valve of the engine and the compressor of the turbocharger in the second pressure chamber thereof, when the turbocharging pressure is less than a preset value.
