  • Patent number: 4928131
Abstract: A sea clutter suppression radar is capable of effectively suppressing the reflected signal using RF waves of a single frequency by simultaneously sending the RF waves each having horizontal and vertical polarizations, and detecting, from a reflected signal from a target, horizontally and vertically polarized components and the vector sum and the vector difference signals between these components, and then processing these signals to suppress the reflected signal from the sea surface.

  • Patent number: 4675679
Abstract: A digital scan converter comprises an A/D converter; an input buffer; a random access memory; a write address generator; a plurality of read address generators; an address switch circuit composed of a first address switch means for switching the addresses from the write address generator and the read address generators and delivering the addresses via an address signal line to the random access memory, and alternately switching a first address signal line for transmitting the address from the write address generator and a common signal line for commonly transmitting the addresses from the plurality of the read address generators for connecting one of said switched lines with the address signal line, and a second switch means for switching in succession the connection between the common signal line and a plurality of second signal lines respectively connected with the plurality of the read address generators for transmitting the addresses; a plurality of output buffer; an output switch circuit having a third s

  • Patent number: 4510497
Abstract: A ramark (radar marker) beacon for aiding navigation on a radar screen has been improved by synchronizing a ramark beacon code with a radar pulse. A beacon code having long dots and short dots stops on a radar screen so that the code may be identified by a radar operator. The present ramark beacon has a code pulse generator for amplitude-modulating a transmitter of a beacon, and said code pulse generator is initialized by each received radar pulse, so that a code pulse is synchronized with a radar pulse. The code pulse generated by said code pulse generator has the same period as the period of the received radar pulse.
