  • Patent number: 6025077
Abstract: A composition of the present invention comprises organosiloxane partial hydrolyzate represented by a formula R.sub.2.sup.a SiO.sub.b (OR.sup.1).sub.c (OH).sub.d and having a weight-average molecular weight of 600-5,000 in polystylene conversion, (B) colloidal silica, (C) emulsifying agent and (D) water. Its manufacturing method comprises, for example, a step of mixing the mixed (A), (B) and (D) constituents with the (C) constituent, whereby the composition of silicone emulsion coating material which is stable as an emulsion for a long term and capable of being hardened at low temperatures and as heated and forming a hardened film excellent in the weatherability, durability and so on, as well as its manufacturing method can be provided.

  • Patent number: 4731265
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a modified wood material, wherein a raw wood material is processed in a first bath of a first solution containing metallic ions high in the affinity and showing insoluble and non-flammable properties within the wood material, and then in a second bath of a second solution containing negative ions which produces an insoluble, non-flammable inorganic composition upon reaction with the metallic ions, whereby the obtained modified wood material is made to have the insoluble, non-flammable inorganic composition produced and fixed therein to allow the material to hold a good flame retardancy and excellent rotproof and mothproof properties.

  • Patent number: 4673543
Abstract: A method of producing hardened inorganic products is characterized in that a hydraulic material comprising slag as an effective component is mixed with gypsum and water, and mixture is then shaped and aged at an internal temperature of 50.degree. to 100.degree. C. to produce TSH therein and to cause hydration and hardening. The resulting hardened inorganic product features a light weight and improved fire resistance, freezing resistance, dimensional stability and strength.
