  • Patent number: 5493698
Abstract: A radio apparatus having a unit for receiving a first signal from a first transceiver compressed in time by a predetermined rate, a unit for reproducing a first original signal from the first signal, a unit for receiving a second signal from a second transceiver compressed by the predetermined rate during the reception period of the first transceiver, a unit for reproducing a second original signal from the second signal, and a unit for adding the first and second original signals and outputting the added signal.

  • Patent number: 5355363
Abstract: A voice transmission method and apparatus in a duplex radio system are disclosed in which a voice signal to be transmitted in a constant period of time is subjected to 1/N time compression, N being a numeral not smaller than 2.0. The time-compressed voice signal is supplied to a transmitter as a modulating signal and a transmitting operation is performed by the transmitter in synchronism with a period of time when the modulating signal is inputted to the transmitter. A receiving operation of receiving a time-compressed and modulated signal transmitted from the transmitter to demodulate it is performed by a receiver in a period of time other than the period of time when the transmitting operation is performed. A demodulated signal is subjected to N-ple time expansion to obtain a reproduced receive voice signal, and both the transmitting operation and the receiving operation are repeated at the constant period of time.

  • Patent number: 4556989
Abstract: In a radio system wherein a read signal generator generates a read signal constituted by a plurality of bits, the read signal is supplied to a memory circuit for storage of data to read out the data, and the read out data determines the frequency generated by a synthesizer, the memory circuit and a holding circuit are packaged on an independent substrate, and the read signal generator comprises a first read signal generator generating about half the bits which is held in the holding circuit and a second read signal generator generating the remaining bits.

  • Patent number: 4359770
Abstract: A bit buffer system wherein transmission data signals are sequentially stored in a shift register having a predetermined number of stages, the transmission data signal is taken out of a substantially central one of the predetermined number of stages at the time of initialization to be sent to a receiving unit, and the phase difference between the timing pulse controlling the period of the transmission data signal and the timing pulse controlling the operation of the receiving unit to select a specified stage of the shift register so as to take out the transmission data signal therefrom according to a detected phase difference. A specified code contained in the transmission coded data signal is detected to effect the initialization.
