  • Publication number: 20160046904
Abstract: Provided is a method of stably maintaining and culturing “hepatoblast-like cells” generated during a differentiation-inducing process from pluripotent stem cells to hepatocytes. The present invention also provides a culture product obtained by the culture method. The hepatoblast-like cells can be maintained and cultured stably by bringing a laminin into contact with the hepatoblast-like cells. The method of the present invention which uses a laminin makes it possible for the first time to culture, maintain, and proliferate the hepatoblast-like cells. Desired mature cells such as mature hepatocytes and bile duct epithelial cells can be generated in a short time period and can be acquired at a desired timing by maintaining the hepatoblast-like cells. Further, the resulting cultured hepatoblast-like cells were demonstrated to be capable of being induced to differentiate into mature hepatocytes, mature cholangiocytes, bile duct epithelial cells, and the like.

  • Publication number: 20090295636
Abstract: An object of the invention is to provide a receiving apparatus in which multipath noise can be reduced. In a diversity receiving apparatus (20), a delay amount of phase shifters (24a, 24b) is changed to reduce a multipath level (Mdc) detected by a multipath detecting unit (33). The multipath detecting unit (33), signal processing parts (23a, 23b), and a combiner (25) are provided to obtain a received signal based on received outputs of a plurality of antennas (21a, 21b) when receiving a radio wave signal modulated by a modulating method, such as an FM, in which no change in amplitude is produced. Therefore, the radio wave signal can be received in a better condition than when received using a single antenna. The multipath detecting unit (33) detects a change in amplitude of the received signal as the multipath level (Mdc).

  • Publication number: 20090202024
Abstract: An object of the invention is to allow receiving a radio wave signal in a comfortable manner by overcoming defects in technique and performance according to the related art in reducing a multipath noise by use of an adaptive digital filter. In a multipath noise reducing apparatus (20), an A/D converter (24) converts a received signal from an analog signal to a digital signal, and an ADF (21) carries out a digital signal processing to reduce the multipath noise. At a time of determination of an overmodulation by an overmodulation determining unit (22), an operation of the ADF (21) is turned off to prevent deterioration in a distortion property. Therefore, the multipath noise reduction and prevention of the corresponding deterioration in the distortion property at a time of the overmodulation can be achieved at the same time.

  • Publication number: 20080298519
Abstract: The enclosure of the receiver device is divided into an antenna vicinity enclosure 1 and a demodulation unit enclosure 2, which are connected by a single transmission cable. By disposing the antenna vicinity enclosure 1 in the vicinity of the antenna, the high frequency feeder cable drawn from the antenna to the antenna vicinity enclosure 1 can be shortened. The effect of pulse noise and high frequency noise picked up by the conventional feeder cable can therefore be reduced. Furthermore, the length of the feeder cables in a quantity corresponding to the number of antennas is then reduced and the wiring space for the feeder cable can be reduced. The demodulation unit enclosure 2 is disposed spaced apart from the antenna, and the wiring space for the transmission cable can be greatly reduced in comparison with a case where a plurality of feeder cables are wired in the wiring space.

  • Patent number: 7286098
Abstract: When configuring a film antenna for receiving a circular polarized wave, at least one loop antenna is formed on a transparent plastic film and, at the same time, a non-powered element constituted by a wire-shaped conductor independent from the antenna conductor configuring the loop is arranged near this loop antenna. The non-powered element arranged on the side of the loop antenna is configured by a first part and a second part. The first part is made close to the loop antenna in a substantially parallel state. When a monopole antenna is used in place of the loop antenna, by combining this with a wire-shaped conductor orthogonal to this, it becomes possible to receive a circular polarized wave by a configuration providing a power transfer part between the two. It is also possible to configure a composite antenna by mounting another antenna on the transparent plastic film. This antenna can be used as an antenna of a navigation system.

  • Patent number: 7277684
Abstract: An object of the invention is to receive a weak signal with high sensitivity and reduce distortion and signal suppression when a strong interference signal exists. When a high-frequency signal received by an antenna is to be amplified by an antenna amplifier and when an interference wave of high field strength exists, a switch circuit is switched by an output switchover circuit from the output of an amplifier to a through-circuit. The through-circuit guides the high-frequency signal, directly to the output side without passing through the amplifier. When the switching operation of the switch circuit is performed based on low-frequency components which are highly correlated with distortion components due to intermodulation, the switching operation can be performed more adequately. Noises can be reduced by performing a smoothing process on the switching operation, and the use of an inverting amplifier can prevent occurrence of oscillation.
