  • Patent number: 6328474
Abstract: The life of a linear guide device which can be employed in an environment where high cleanness or oil free is required is prolonged by using a solid lubricating agent. In order to attain the object, in a linear guide device comprising a guide rail, and a movable unit consisting of: a movable block which is disposed with straddling the guide rail; and balls (rolling elements) which are enclosed in a ball circulation passage disposed in the movable block, at least ball raceway surfaces of the guide rail and the movable unit are coated with a solid lubricating agent, and the clearance between the guide rail and the movable unit is 0 or positive. Although a solid lubricating agent which is susceptible to be affected by a load is used, therefore, the life of the device can be prolonged as compared with the case where a negative clearance is employed.

  • Patent number: 6203201
Abstract: A linear bearing is provided which can allow a shaft to relatively reciprocally move with respect to an outer race in the axial direction, and also to rotate in the circumferential direction. In the linear bearing of the invention, an outer race supports a shaft via balls which are retained by a retainer. A push ring is fitted to the outer race so as to be reciprocable in the axial direction. Three coil springs which are arranged at the intervals of 120° in the circumferential direction are contractedly interposed between a lid fixed to the outer race and the push ring, so as to press the push ring toward the retainer. Spring pins which protrude in the axial direction are fixed to the lid. Tip ends of the spring pins are reciprocally fitted into holes formed in the push ring, thereby preventing the push ring from rotating.

  • Patent number: 5904426
Abstract: Each of the inner and outer rings of a non-retainer type rolling bearing has a wear-resistant solid film of a fluorine-containing synthetic resin formed on its track surface. The solid film carries a very small amount of grease having a low vapor pressure, e.g. fluorine-containing grease, as an effective lubricant for the inner and outer rings, and the rolling elements held therebetween, while the solid film is also restrained from producing dust. The amount of the grease does not exceed 5% of the volume of the open space in the bearing.

  • Patent number: 5031021
Abstract: There is disclosed a power transistor comprising a semiconductor substrate having a PN junction exposed on a major surface of the semiconductor substrate, and a semiinsulative polysilicon film formed on the major surface, the polysilicon film covering the PN junction, the polysilicon film containing at least one of carbon, oxygen, and nitrogen, and the polysilicon film having a thickness of about 3000 .ANG..

  • Patent number: 4585489
Abstract: A semiconductor device and a method of manufacturing the same are disclosed wherein a semi-insulating film having a high trap density is formed on a semiconductor substrate so as to prevent charges from remaining in the semi-insulating film and to prevent a change in carrier density at the substrate surface upon irradiation thereof with radiation. The lifetime of minority carriers can be easily controlled without decreasing the junction breakdown voltages.
