Patent number: 7293767Abstract: In a sheet sucking/feeding device, actuators are independently and individually connected respectively to plural suction cups. At a point in time when a printing plate is sucked and raised up by a predetermined amount, every other one of the actuators is simultaneously operated such that the suction cups connected to the operated actuators are displaced upwardly. The sucked uppermost printing plate is curved so as to become wavy. Air enters in between the uppermost printing plate and a next printing plate therebeneath such that that printing plate therebeneath is disjoined (separated). Only the uppermost printing plate is stably removed and fed out.Type: GrantFiled: December 5, 2003Date of Patent: November 13, 2007Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Tadanobu Shibabuki, Kazuoki Komiyama, Yoshinori Kawamura

Publication number: 20060130691Abstract: An apparatus automatically feeds photosensitive printing plates having the characteristic that transport and storage are possible in a state where the photosensitive printing plates have been stacked together such that back sides of the photosensitive printing plates are brought into direct contact with photosensitive surfaces on front sides of the photosensitive printing plates. The apparatus includes: a storage member that accommodates a bundle comprising a plural number of the photosensitive printing plates stacked together without slip sheets; a takeout member that separates and takes out the photosensitive printing plates from the bundle one plate at a time; and a conveyance member that conveys the taken-out photosensitive printing plates to an exposure apparatus. According to this apparatus, the conventional configuration and process of separating, conveying, and stocking slip sheets from the photosensitive surfaces of the photosensitive printing plates can be omitted.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 20, 2005Publication date: June 22, 2006Inventors: Yoshinori Kawamura, Kikuo Matsuba, Kazuoki Komiyama, Toru Itakura

Patent number: 7028617Abstract: A printing plate sucker capable of stably suction-adhering and sheet-feeding both a printing plate and a protective sheet simultaneously without causing wrinkling at the protective sheet during the suction-adherence and sheet-feeding. The sucker is structured by a main body portion formed of a stiff body, a skirt portion formed of a resilient body, and a spring. When a moment from a printing plate acts on the sucker during sheet-feeding, the spring resiliently deforms. Thus, the main body portion is displaced (inclined) in the moment application direction, effective weight on the sucker is reduced, and a state in which a reduced moment acts on the sucker is achieved (the moment is substantially absorbed). Furthermore, the spring which redirects the moment is structured separately from the main body portion and skirt portion. Therefore, the sucker will not be deformed, an interleaf sheet will not be hoistingly deformed, and wrinkling will not occur.Type: GrantFiled: December 9, 2003Date of Patent: April 18, 2006Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Tadanobu Shibabuki, Kazuoki Komiyama, Yoshinori Kawamura

Patent number: 6935238Abstract: A conveying device for a printing plate precursor which takes the printing plate precursor and an interleaf sheet out from a cassette, and which, along a conveying path to an exposure section, takes-off only the interleaf sheet. When a leading end of the interleaf sheet passes by an interleaf sheet peeling roller disposed on the conveying path, the interleaf sheet peeling roller rotates in a direction opposite to a direction of conveying to the exposure section, and contacts the interleaf sheet, and slack is formed in the interleaf sheet between the interleaf sheet peeling roller and a conveying roller. A slack portion is nipped between two belts and fed to a forked-off path, and the interleaf sheet is removed from the conveying path. It is possible to feed only the printing plate precursor out to the exposure section while continuing to convey the printing plate precursor.Type: GrantFiled: October 8, 2003Date of Patent: August 30, 2005Assignee: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yoshinori Kawamura, Takashi Koizumi, Kazuoki Komiyama, Yoshihiro Koyanagi

Patent number: 6662725Abstract: A printing plate is held at one point thereof by a holding portion provided at a surface plate. When pushed by a pushing portion, the printing plate is only rotationally displaced. Thus, an angular error is substantially eliminated and displacement of the printing plate is small. Then, the pushing portion positions the printing plate in a direction perpendicular to a direction in which the surface plate can be moved. Then, movement of the surface plate positions the printing plate in the direction in which the surface plate can be moved.Type: GrantFiled: September 18, 2000Date of Patent: December 16, 2003Assignees: Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd., Fuji Photo Optical Co., Ltd.Inventors: Takashi Koizumi, Kazuoki Komiyama, Yoshinori Kawamura, Yoshihiro Koyanagi, Mitsuyoshi Nishimura, Takashi Kato

Patent number: 6622601Abstract: A punch unit (1) having a punch (2) that is reciprocally driven in a punching operation; and, a die (3) cooperating with the punch (2) in punching a punch hole in a soft metal sheet. A cleaning means scrapes a soft metal sheet's fragment, when the fragment is stuck to the punch (2), off of the punch (2). The cleaning means scrapes the fragment by reciprocally moving the punch (2) Further provided in the unit (1) is a punch drive and control circuit (25). The circuit (25) enables the punch to be (2) to perform lost motion at predetermined time intervals. Lost motion enables the punch (2) to scrape the fragment of the soft metal sheet off a surface of the punch (2). Consequently, the fragment of the soft metal sheet does not remain stuck to the punch (2) in the punching operation.Type: GrantFiled: January 26, 2001Date of Patent: September 23, 2003Assignees: Hitachi Metals Ltd., Hmy, Ltd., Fuji Photo Film Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hidekazu Hashimoto, Junichi Nakao, Kazuoki Komiyama
