    Abstract: A printing system includes a printing device and a cartridge. The printing device includes a controller that controls the printing device to perform printing by executing a plurality of sequences, an error detector that detects an error that is likely to occur in one or more of the plurality of sequences, and a first storage unit in which information is recorded by the controller. The cartridge includes a cartridge storage unit in which information is recorded by the controller in a state in which the cartridge is attached to the printing device. The controller records, in the first storage unit, numbers and results of a plurality of sequences. When the error is detected, the controller records numbers of a predetermined number of sequences including the latest sequenced among the numbers of the sequences recorded in the first storage unit.
