  • Publication number: 20190193741
Abstract: In an apparatus for detecting an anomaly of an evaluation target condition of a road, a storage stores a reference data set correlating to a predetermined attribute and being comprised of reference data samples. An anomaly level calculator obtains, from target vehicles, an evaluation data set correlating to the predetermined attribute and being comprised of evaluation data samples. The evaluation data samples are collected from the respective target vehicles as target driving data items at the predetermined attribute under the evaluation target condition of the road. The target driving data item for each of the target vehicles represents at least one driving operation of the corresponding one of the target vehicles. The anomaly level calculator compares the reference data set with the evaluation data set to thereby calculate an anomaly level of the evaluation target condition of the road.

  • Publication number: 20160203147
Abstract: Provided is a page/site server and so on for immediately displaying a noteworthy place in a page content. The page/site server enables communication with a comment server allowing contributors to send their comments to one another and responds with a page content including text according to a page acquisition request transmitted from a terminal. The page/site server comprises: a comment group retriever retrieving from within the comment server a comment group related to the page content; a characteristic word extractor extracting from the comment group a characteristic word included in text of the page content with high appearance frequency under a predetermined condition; a characteristic word retriever retrieving a place where the characteristic word appears in the page content; and a browsing-part display controller controlling the objective page content to be displayed on the terminal in such a way that the place where the characteristic word appears can be browsed.

  • Patent number: 9111400
Abstract: In an abnormal driving behavior detection system for a vehicle, an obtainer repeatedly obtains an observed value indicative of at least one of a running condition of the vehicle and a driver's driving operation of the vehicle. A mode-probability calculator calculates, each time an observed value is obtained at a given obtaining timing as a target obtained value, a mode probability for each of driving modes as a function of one or more previous observed values. A deviation calculator obtains a predicted observed value for each driving mode using a driver's normal behavior model defined therefor, and calculates a deviation of the target observed value from the predicted observed value for each driving mode. An abnormality determiner determines whether there is at least one driver's abnormal behavior based on the mode probability for each driving mode and the deviation calculated for each driving mode.

  • Patent number: 8930976
Abstract: A method of selecting a factor for estimating characteristics of viewers who view a same content is disclosed. This method includes: storing a multi-layered hierarchal list of attribute words expressing viewer attributes, each of which is a candidate of the factor; extracting the attribute words from the same content; generating a first vector indicative of frequencies with which the attribute words occur in the same content; for a successively-selected one of the attribute words, successively generating a second vector indicative of frequencies with which the attribute words occur in ones of sets of learned-text information which contain the successively-selected attribute word; calculating a similarity score between the vectors on a per-attribute-word basis; and selecting one of the attribute words as the factor, which is associated with subordinate attribute words on a lower layer, based on a dispersion level of the similarity scores calculated for the subordinate attribute words.

  • Patent number: 5416721
Abstract: In network charts such as logic circuit diagrams, the present invention makes it possible to perform level assignment of nodes efficiently and universally. A method for assigning levels to nodes according to the present invention includes a first step of dividing a network chart or a logic circuit into strongly connected components, a second step of providing all arcs with weights for every node of the above described strongly connected components having at least two nodes so that the inflow of arc weight may become equivalent to the outflow thereof, a third step of detecting an arc for which the weight in the above described strongly connected component becomes the maximum, and a fourth step of determining a disconnection point of a loop out of arcs for which the above described weights become the maximum or becomes its proportionate magnitude. All loops included in the network chart are thus removed.
