Patent number: 5183668Abstract: Herein disclosed is a pressurized slip casting apparatus which includes an upper mold carried vertically movably on a replacer which is made horizontally movably on a horizontal rail; and a lower mold for receiving the upper mold in alignment, when the upper mold descends, to cast a slip under pressure inbetween thereby to prepare a green body of a sanitation fixture or the like. Dehydrating assembly is carried vertically movably on the replacer. A spongy member is attached to the lower end of the dehydrating assembly for absorbing the water from the inside of the lower mold. A push plate is arranged at the side of the lower mold for pushing the spongy member to dehydrate the same.Type: GrantFiled: November 4, 1991Date of Patent: February 2, 1993Assignee: Inax CorporationInventors: Kazushige Murata, Takeshi Ito

Patent number: 5046937Abstract: A divisible slip-casting mold has filter layers which incorporate a combination of different types of fluid-flow conduits to achieve improved fluid-flow properties. The conduits include major portions of porous ropes arranged in curved lines and minor portions of blind holes installed in straight lines. The porous ropes are essentially installed in those portions of the filter layer where the ropes are readily or uniformly arranged, and the blind holes are essentially installed in those portions of the filter layer which exhibit poor fluid-flow properties and in which installation of porous ropes is difficult. Thus, substantially uniform fluid-flow properties are provided in the filter layers of the mold to enhance mold casting performance.Type: GrantFiled: July 17, 1989Date of Patent: September 10, 1991Assignee: Inax CorporationInventors: Takeshi Ito, Kazushige Murata, Kuniyoshi Kohmura

Patent number: 5033728Abstract: An apparatus which includes a feeding device for feeding a document onto a document platen on which the document is irradiated by a light source to obtain a copy image and a discharging device for discharging the irradiated document from the document platen. The apparatus includes a housing unit shaped in the form of a plate for covering the document platen; a hinge for pivotally mounting the housing unit on the document platen, and first, second and third sub-housings made to protrude upwards from the top surface of the housing unit. The first sub-housing is disposed on one side of the housing unit and incorporates the feeding device. The second sub-housing is disposed on the opposite side to the one side and incorporates the discharging device. The third sub-housing is disposed on a side between the one side and the opposite side and incorporates both the hinge and driving mechanism for both the feeding device and the discharging device.Type: GrantFiled: February 12, 1990Date of Patent: July 23, 1991Assignee: Konica CorporationInventors: Kazunobu Miura, Minoru Kawano, Kazushige Murata, Mitsuru Nagoshi

Patent number: 5020983Abstract: A divisible slip-casting mold has filter layers which incorporate a combination of different types of fluid-flow conduits to improve the mechanical strength of the mold while providing the filter layers with substantially uniform fluid-flow properties. The conduits include major portions of blind holes installed in straight lines and minor portions of porous ropes arranged in curved lines. The porous ropes are essentially installed in those portions of the filter layer having a mechanical strength which is inferior to the predominant portions of the filter layer, and the blind holes are essentially installed in the predominant portions of the filter layer. Thus, improved mechanical strength and substantially uniform fluid-flow properties are provided substantially throughout the filter layers of the mold.Type: GrantFiled: October 30, 1989Date of Patent: June 4, 1991Assignee: Inax CorporationInventors: Takeshi Ito, Kazushige Murata, Kuniyoshi Kohmura

Patent number: 4955595Abstract: A document feeding apparatus having a document feed unit adapted to feed documents, which are placed on a stacked document feed tray, sheet by sheet toward a document glass plate in an exposure unit. An auxiliary document feed tray is turnably housed in the document feed tray. The auxiliary document feed tray is turned so as to project over the stacked document feed tray when the documents are fed sheet by sheet by hand so that the front end portion of the auxiliary document feed tray narrows a document feed port of the document feed unit to render the stacked documents difficult to be inserted thereinto.Type: GrantFiled: September 1, 1989Date of Patent: September 11, 1990Assignee: Konica CorporationInventors: Minoru Kawano, Kazunobu Miura, Kazushige Murata, Mitsuru Nagoshi

Patent number: 4954847Abstract: The invention provides a sheet conveyance apparatus for conveying an original document sheet onto a platen glass through which the sheet is irradiated by light. The sheet conveyance apparatus having a driving means capable of moving conveyor belt in both directions so that, by moving the conveyor belt to the first-moving direction, the sheet is fed onto through the first side and carried away from through the second side of the platen glass. A delivery tray is mounted above the platen glass so that the sheet is delivered through first turning passage from the second side of the platen glass to the delivery tray. Between the conveyor belt and the delivery tray is provided a second turning passage so that the sheet is returned through the second turning passage from the first turning passage to the second side of the platen glass.Type: GrantFiled: May 19, 1988Date of Patent: September 4, 1990Assignee: Konica CorporationInventors: Kazushige Murata, Mitsuru Nagoshi
