  • Publication number: 20030174240
Abstract: A mobile telephone having a first body and a second body which are foldably coupled via a hinge mechanism 2, a wide-angle lens for obtaining a wide-angle image, a telephoto lens for obtaining an enlarged image, and an image pickup element installed in an image focusing place. The mobile telephone includes a slide mechanism for not only causing the enlarged image to be input to the image pickup element provided in the second body through the telephoto lens provided in the first body with the mobile telephone folded but also sliding the image pickup element in the second body in response to the pivotal action of the hinge mechanism when the first body and the second body are unfolded so as to cause the wide-angle image to be input to the image pickup element through the wide-angle lens provided in the second body.

  • Patent number: 6525766
Abstract: An opening formed in a hemispherical portion decreases the rigidity of a camera cover, whereby the camera cover is easy to deform due to the lateral external pressure. In a composite camera in which a camera body is housed in a camera box (1) attached onto a ceiling or the like through a camera base (2) so that it can turn and swing up and down, and the aforesaid camera body is covered with a hemispherical camera cover (3) having an opening (3f) from which a lens (4) of the camera body protrudes, the camera cover (3) is composed of a cylindrical portion (3a), a hemispherical portion (3b) and a reinforcing step portion (3c) that connects these cylindrical portion (3a) and hemispherical portion (3b), and ring-shaped edges formed at boundaries between the cylindrical portion (3a) and the reinforcing step portion (3c) and between the reinforcing step portion (3c) and the hemispherical portion (3b) improve the lateral rigidity of the camera cover (3).

  • Patent number: 6444916
Abstract: A self-bonding insulated wire having a bonding layer on an insulated wire, the bonding layer including a crystalline copolyamide having a melting point within the range of 105 to 150° C. and a relative viscosity of 1.4 to 1.6 measured at 25° C. with respect to a 0.5% by weight m-cresol solution thereof, and optionally at least one member selected from the group of a high-melting nylon having a melting point within the range of 200 to 300° C. and an antioxidant. The bonding layer can be formed from a coating having an increased resin concentration and the residual solvent content of the bonding layer is small. The self-bonding insulated wire and self-bonding litz wire composed thereof provide deflecting coils having a decreased strain, good adhesive property and good heat resistance.

  • Patent number: 6438816
Abstract: A mold for forming a resinous domed article which may be employed as a cover of a monitor camera is provided. The mold consists of a female block and a male block. The female block has formed therein a domed mold cavity which includes a hemispherical wall that is just half a sphere and an annular wall extending from an end of the hemispherical wall. The male block has a domed protrusion mating with the domed mold cavity of the female block. The domed protrusion consists of two parts: a hemispherical portion and a cylindrical portion. The hemispherical portion is mechanically joined to the cylindrical portion. This structure allows the surface of the domed protrusion of the male block to be formed smoothly without any irregularities on an interface between the hemispherical portion and the cylindrical portion.
