    Abstract: A diver's watch includes a timepiece exterior assembly including a movement, a hand setting stem pipe, a crown for operating the movement, and a cover pipe. A locking face is formed at an outer peripheral portion of a case body provided to the timepiece exterior assembly. The hand setting stem pipe is fixed to the case body and includes a pipe side screw portion. The crown includes a crown cylinder inserted to inside of the hand setting stem pipe, and a crown head integral with the crown cylinder. The crown head is formed with a crown side screw portion attachably and detachably screwed to the pipe side screw portion, and an engaging end face brought into contact with and separated from the locking face. The cover pipe is arranged to be more proximate to the crown cylinder than the engaging end face. Thereby, the hand setting stem pipe is covered by the cover pipe and the covered state is maintained regardless of a movement in an axial direction of the crown.

    Abstract: A wristwatch includes a case body, a rotary bezel, one or more pieces of operating screws, and a holding member. The case body includes a ring-like portion 16a surrounding a cover glass and the ring-like portion is formed with a ring-like groove opened to an outer periphery thereof. The rotary bezel arranged at the case body includes a fitting portion rotatably fitted to an outer periphery of the ring-like portion and the fitting portion is formed with a guide groove opened to an inner periphery thereof and opposed to the ring-like groove. The operating screw is inserted to the groove from an outer side of the rotary bezel to be rotatably attached to the fitting portion. The holding member is connected to a front end portion of the operating screw by permitting rotation of the operating screw.

    Abstract: A wristwatch (portable apparatus) is provided with a wristwatch exterior (apparatus exterior) having a through hole, a pipe, a push button, a coil spring, and a packing in a ring-like shape. The pipe is formed by providing an outwardly arranged cylinder portion having a spring receiving face integrally with an inserting cylinder portion. The pipe is fixed to the timepiece exterior by inserting the inserting cylinder portion to the through hole, and the outwardly arranged cylinder portion is arranged at an outer portion of the timepiece exterior. The push button includes a drawout preventing member attached to a shaft portion movably penetrating the pipe for preventing the shaft portion from being drawn out from the pipe, and an operating head provided at the shaft portion. The coil spring for urging the push button to an outer side of the timepiece exterior is interposed by the operating head and the spring receiving face.

    Abstract: A microorganism or enzyme is mixed with an alginate and a silica sol in the presence of water to obtain a liquid mixture having a pH of 3 to 10 and containing an alginate concentration of 0.5 to 3.5% (w/v) and a silica concentration originating from the silica sol of 0.5 to 35% (w/v). The mixture is contacted with a gelling agent in the form of an aqueous solution to obtain a gel containing the microorganism or enzyme.
