Abstract: An electronic device includes a storage that stores therein pulse rate ranges using a resting heart rate of a user as a reference to be associated with exercise amounts, respectively, and a processor. The processor executes a process including: acquiring a first sensor value and a second sensor value from a first sensor and a second sensor that are sensors worn on a body of the user, respectively, the first sensor detecting pulses and the second sensor detecting an acceleration; calculating a plurality of pulse rate candidates based on the acquired first sensor value; calculating an exercise amount of the user based on the acquired second sensor value; and specifying a pulse rate range stored in the storage to be associated with the calculated exercise amount and deciding a pulse rate candidate included in the specified pulse rate range as a pulse rate of the user.

Abstract: A fingerprint reader includes a base that is provided with a round concave which is roundly recessed along at least a predetermined direction in a part of a surface of the base; a projection section that is arranged in one end of the round concave in the predetermined direction, and that protrudes from a concave surface of the round concave; and a fingerprint sensor that has an operation surface on the projection section, and that detects a fingerprint of a finger which passes on the operation surface in the predetermined direction.

Abstract: An administrative server automatically manages the operating time of each of plural terminal equipments and promotes rotation between those having respective, longer and shorter operating times to thereby reduce the occurrence of trouble and improve operating efficiency. Respective operating times of a plurality of terminal equipments are measured and equalized at the expiry of a predetermined operation period tf. Rotation candidate terminal equipments are determined, based on their respective, accumulated operating times before the expiry of the predetermined operation period tx, and terminal equipments rotation messages are sent to the so determined rotation candidate terminal equipments. After an exchange of one of the rotation candidate terminal equipments with another, both are re-connected and the data associated with the one of the rotation candidate terminal equipments is downloaded onto the another rotation candidate terminal equipment.
