  • Patent number: 8162228
Abstract: Data is transferred from an operating device to a printer for printing with a simple operation. It is determined whether or not a printer ID received by a RFID tag for a printer of a printer via radio communication from a mobile terminal matches a printer ID of the printer of itself, and when the printer ID matches, printing data received by the RFID tag for a printer via radio communication from the mobile terminal is stored in a memory part of the RFID tag for a printer and then, the printing data is transmitted to a printer main body through a reader from the RFID tag for a printer and printed by a print head of the printer main body.

  • Patent number: 7859957
Abstract: An optical disc apparatus includes a pause circuit for pausing data encoders upon receiving a pause signal so that a write operation may be paused without writing dummy data, thereby maintaining data succession. The optical disc apparatus also includes a circuit for accurately determining a write start location by referring to previously written data. A processor generates a pause signal when the amount of data in the optical drive apparatus data buffer is low, and removes the pause signal when additional data from a host is received. The processor may also automatically reduce the write speed of the optical disc apparatus upon a pause condition, thereby preventing the necessity for excessive pausing.

  • Patent number: 7701841
Abstract: An orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) demodulating apparatus includes a delay profile creating section, a Fourier converting section, a pilot signal extracting section, a transmission path characteristic estimating section, an inverse Fourier converting section, and a window control section. In this case, the window control section creates a delay profile for defining a calculation range by leaving a path which exists at a same position in both the delay profiles created by the delay profile creating section and the inverse Fourier converting section and the number of times of detection which is equal to or higher than a threshold value and defines a higher threshold value for the path at a predetermined position from the position of the main path within the delay profile created by the inverse Fourier converting section than for the paths at the other positions.
