  • Patent number: 6586061
Abstract: A multi-layer film contains at least a first layer, a second layer inside thereof, and a third layer inside the second layer. The first layer contains a polypropylene resin (PP). The second layer contains a polyethylene resin (PE) having 70 to 90 wt% of a lower crystalline component (LCC) and 10 to 30 wt% of a higher crystalline component (HCC). The PE has a melt flow rate of 0.1 to 20 g/10 min and in a temperature rising elution fraction elution curve, an elution peak temperature of the LCC is from 45 to 85° C; the ratio of (peak height of LCC)/(height of the minimum valley between LCC peak and HCC peak) is 9 or more; an area ratio of the elution peak temperature or less of LCC is 35% or more. The third layer contains a) PP or b) a high-pressure low density PE having an extrapolation melting completion temperature of melting of 110° C or more; or c) a copolymer of ethylene/C3-18 &agr;-olefin having a density of 0.920 g/cm3 or more.

  • Patent number: 6410648
Abstract: A tacky film is provided which is self-tacky, has a satisfactory tack strength when adhered to itself, can have any desired tack strength, and has satisfactory blocking resistance. In particular, a tacky film suitable for use as a tacky layer of a pallet stretch film is provided. A tacky film comprising a linear low-density polyethylene having an MFR of from 0.1 to 10 g/10 min and a density of from 0.884 to 0.910 g/cm3; or a tacky film comprising a polyethylene resin composition which is a resin composition obtained by blending ingredient A [a linear low-density polyethylene having an MFR of from 0.1 to 10 g/10 min and a density of from 0.890 to 0.940 g/cm3] with ingredient B [a linear low-density polyethylene having an MFR of from 0.1 to 50 g/10 min and giving, in differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), a melting peak whose extrapolated melting termination temperature is 98° C. or lower] and which has an ingredient B content of 80% by weight or lower and a density of from 0.884 to 0.
