  • Publication number: 20110137169
Abstract: A medical image processing apparatus that acquires a medical image and additional information associated with the medical image. The medical image processing apparatus reduces a display size of the medical image using a first size-reduction rate, and reduces a display size of the additional information using a second size-reduction rate. The medical image processes apparatus then combines the size-reduced medical image and the size-reduced additional information into a thumbnail composite image, and displays the thumbnail composite image.

  • Patent number: 7883467
Abstract: An event signal is generated in response to a specific event as a trigger. A recording control unit controls the operation of an image recording unit on the basis of the event signal, thereby automatically forming, as a unit, and recording moving image information based on a unified standard. In addition, an event signal is generated in response to a specific event as a trigger. On the basis of ultrasonic image data of a frame corresponding to the event signal generation, a representative image as an index for search is automatically generated and recorded in association with the ultrasonic image data of the corresponding frame. Furthermore, the recorded representative image is read out and set on the screen. The ultrasonic image data is reproduced on the basis of the frame associated with the representative image selected by the operator.

  • Publication number: 20100069756
Abstract: A region-of-interest setting unit sets a region of interest to be included in an ultrasound image. A first movement-amount calculating unit sequentially calculates a movement amount of the set region of interest between reception data along the time sequence as a first movement amount. A transmitting-receiving delay-amount computing unit computes a delay amount for sequentially shifting a scan region of an ultrasonic beam based on the sequentially calculated first movement amount. A computation/control circuit performs control so as to generate a high voltage pulse based on the computed delay amount. A second movement-amount calculating unit sequentially calculates a movement amount of the region of interest between image data along the time sequence as a second movement amount. A display-position correcting unit performs a correction such that the region of interest included in the image data is to be displayed at the same display position, based on the second movement amount.

  • Publication number: 20090306514
Abstract: An imaging part acquires a plurality of ultrasound image data by sequentially imaging the subject with ultrasound waves. A display controller causes a display to display, side by side, a plurality of ultrasound images based on the plurality of ultrasound image data acquired by the imaging part. Moreover, the display controller causes the display to display measurement markers for obtaining quantitative information of tissues shown in the ultrasound images in a state superimposed in relatively the same positions on the plurality of ultrasound images.

  • Publication number: 20090024037
Abstract: Transmitting and receiving ultrasound with repetition frequency that corresponds to velocity range indicating the measurable velocity to and from a diagnostic site that contains moving fluid within a body to be examined. Generating Doppler spectrum image showing velocity of moving fluid based on signals obtained from transmission and reception of ultrasound. Storing modeled value based on model correlating standard blood velocity waveform with an ECG waveform. Calculating measured blood velocity waveform based on spectrum image of a specified patient. Acquiring ECG waveform at timing corresponding to measured blood velocity waveform. Estimating blood velocity waveform excluding effects of valve signals of patient based on measured blood velocity waveform, ECG waveform, and modeled value.

  • Publication number: 20070287915
Abstract: An ultrasonic probe transmits ultrasonic waves to a subject to be examined and receives reflected waves from the subject to be examined. An image processor generates three-dimensional image data based on the reflected waves received by the ultrasonic probe. Moreover, the image processor displays a mark indicating the positional relationship between the three-dimensional image and the ultrasonic probe on a display, the mark overlapping the three-dimensional image based on the three-dimensional image data.

  • Publication number: 20060052705
Abstract: In quantitative analysis using blood flow velocity measurement and the like, whether to select the forward direction or reverse direction is determined in accordance with the positional relationship between a baseline for controlling the display scale of a Doppler waveform and a reference line which can be arbitrarily set by an operator. The determination is executed at one of the stages of selecting a tracing direction by an automatic tracing process, selecting an approximate Doppler waveform as an analysis target, and selecting an analysis result as a display target.

  • Publication number: 20060052704
Abstract: A Doppler signal detecting unit 42 and spectrum calculating unit 44 measure a Doppler spectrum from a reception signal obtained by ultrasonic wave transmission/reception with respect to a diagnosis region of an object to be examined. A local maximum/minimum detecting unit 62 detects a plurality of local maximum/minimum pairs with respect to a trace waveform generated by a trace waveform generating unit 61 on the basis of the Doppler spectrum. A feature amount selecting unit 64 selects a desired waveform from a plurality of local maximum/minimum pairs in a predetermined cardiac cycle set by a cardiac cycle setting unit 63 by using heartbeat information from a living body measuring unit 9 on the basis of a preset selection criterion. A diagnostic parameter is measured on the basis of the position information or amplitude information of the selected waveform.

  • Patent number: 6001061
Abstract: At a measuring time, when at least one desired measurement category is selected from among a plurality of measurement categories associated with an ultrasonic image, at least one measurement item is selected from among a plurality of measurement items under the selected measurement category. Measurements corresponding to the selected measurement items are made sequentially. A title of those selected measurement items is inserted in a report. Since the title of those not-selected measurement items is not inserted in the report, there never occurs a situation in which the actually measured items and measurement results are buried in a vast number of measurement items, making it difficult to find them. That is, it is possible to minimize the number of pages and, by doing so, easily review the full actual measurement items one at a time on one screen or on one page and simply do this while being scrolled fewer times on a display screen or eye-scanning the pages of the report as required.
