  • Patent number: 6599100
Abstract: In a closed type motor-operated compressor, oil covers are provided at the upper and lower portions of a stator, as well as a porous filter provided between the lower portion coil cover and a support member for supporting a sub-bearing, wherein it is so constructed that gas discharged passes through the filter with certainty after passing through a space defined by an inner diameter of a sealed container and a constituent element(s) of a compressor mechanism, thereby dissolving a problem of decreasing heat change efficiency in a refrigerating cycle due to much of discharge of refrigerating machine oil from a discharge pipe to the refrigerating cycle.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 18, 2001
Date of Patent: July 29, 2003
    Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.
Inventors: Nobuo Abe, Yoshihiro Sasaki, Kazuya Ishigami, Kazunori Morita, Masahiro Shimada
