  • Publication number: 20140099429
Abstract: In an absorbent sheet manufacturing apparatus, a storage part stores speed determining information including relationships between conveying speed of a first sheet member and rotational speed of a supply cylinder and corresponding respectively to target particle densities. A control part determines the rotational speed of the supply cylinder on the basis of a target particle density, the conveying speed and the speed determining information. Even if various changes are made to the conveying speed of the first sheet member, the amount of particles supplied can be accurately controlled such that the density of particles on the first sheet member matches the target particle density. Even if various changes are made to the target particle density, the amount of particles supplied can be accurately controlled in consideration of the conveying speed such that the density of particles matches the target particle density.

  • Patent number: 8568552
Abstract: In an outer covering sheet of an absorbent product, first, second and third adhesive layer elements each extending in a left-right direction are formed on a second covering sheet by spiral spray application. Each of these adhesive layer elements has wide width parts and narrow width parts which are continuous with the wide width parts, respectively. Therefore, hot melt adhesive can be stably discharged across the entire length of the adhesive layer element, unlike in the case where only wide width parts are formed intermittently. As a result, it is possible to obtain the outer covering sheet which is a sheet member having the adhesive layer elements with desired shapes where unevenness is decreased. In the absorbent product which is manufactured with use of the sheet member, the comfort level of the wearer can be prevented from decreasing due to unevenness of thickness of the adhesive layer elements.

  • Publication number: 20120145762
Abstract: An accumulating apparatus (4) has an upper arm (51) in which a plurality of upper rollers (511) are arranged, and a lower arm (52) in which a plurality of lower rollers (521) are arranged. An upper gear (61) is fixed to the upper arm and a lower gear (62) is fixed to the lower arm. The upper gear is engaged with the lower gear, the upper arm and the lower arm are simultaneously moved opposite to each other with respect to a vertical direction. Therefore, when moving the lower arm in the vertical direction, influence of a weight of the lower arm is canceled by a weight of the upper arm, and a force to move the lower arm upward can be reduced. As the result, an air cylinder (63) for changing a distance between the upper arm and the lower arm can be downsized.

  • Patent number: 8163124
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a sheet-shaped body in which a powder particle layer is sandwiched between a base sheet to which a bonding agent is applied and a covering sheet so as to be bonded into an integral body, is provided with the steps of: shifting the base sheet, the powder particle layer and the covering sheet, with each of the sheets and the layer being held on the respective roller face, and after the powder particle layer has been transferred onto the base sheet, bonding the base sheet, the powder particle layer and the covering sheet into an integral form. Thus, the powder particle layer can be fixed to a predetermined position in a stable manner.

  • Publication number: 20110301563
Abstract: A disposable diaper comprising: a fastening tape having a tab part which is formed at one end of a tape substrate, a fixing part which is formed at the other end of the tape substrate, and an adjustment part which is formed between the tab part and the fixing part; a diaper main body having a front part, a back part and a crotch part positioned between the front part and the back part; wherein an attachment is fixed to the tab part, the fastening tape is attached to a side end of the front or back part of the diaper main body at the fixing part, the adjustment part is folded and temporarily joined to the diaper main body and/or the fastening tape at a joining part, and a length of the fastening tape between the attachment and the joining part which is the nearest to the attachment is longer than a length between an outer edge of the diaper main body and the joining part which is the nearest to the attachment.

  • Patent number: 7600704
Abstract: An absorbent product manufacturing apparatus including a pulp feed mechanism (2) for feeding a pulp sheet along a lower surface of a pulp guide part (2411) and a pulp crushing mechanism (3) for crushing the pulp sheet from the pulp feed mechanism (2). The pulp crushing mechanism (3) crushes the pulp sheet with a first crushing cylinder (312) and a second crushing cylinder (322). The crushing cylinders are disposed so as to be inclined with respect to a direction of feeding the pulp sheet. This reduces the force necessary to draw the pulp sheet in the feeding direction and suppresses an increase in the movement speed of the pulp sheet in crushing a rear end portion of the pulp sheet. As a result, it is possible to increase the amount of crushed pulp to be generated in a unit time and to maintain uniformity in the quality thereof.

As a result, it is possible to increase the amount of crushed pulp to be generated in a unit time and uniformity in quality thereof.
