    Abstract: A tray is insertable forward in a front-rear direction into a connector main of a card connector. The tray has a first card accommodation portion and a second card accommodation portion. The first card accommodation portion is positioned at a position different from a position of the second card accommodation portion in an up-down direction perpendicular to the front-rear direction. The first card accommodation portion has a first elastic beam portion, a first facing portion and a first bulge. The second card accommodation portion has a second elastic beam portion, a second facing portion, and a second bulge. The first elastic beam portion and the second elastic beam portion are positioned at positions different from each other in the front-rear direction. The first elastic beam portion and the second elastic beam portion are elastically deformable independently of each other.

The connector main is provided with an ejection mechanism for ejecting the tray. The ejection mechanism has at least a push portion which pushes the tray upon ejection of the tray. The tray has a first card accommodation portion, a second card accommodation portion and a mechanism accommodation portion. The mechanism accommodation portion is positioned forward of the first card accommodation portion in the front-rear direction. The mechanism accommodation portion is provided with a pushed portion. The mechanism accommodation portion accommodates at least the push portion under a received state where the tray is received in the connector main. When the push portion pushes the pushed portion, the tray is ejected from the connector main.

When an inserting object is moved along a moving direction which is a forward direction or a rearward direction, the pressed portions are pressed by a press portion to be moved downward perpendicular to the moving direction. The inserting object is a card or a card adapter. The inserting object has the press portion. The second spring portion is provided with a free end and a contact point.

The pressed portion is pressed to be moved downward in accompany with a connection of the connector with a card. When the pressed portion is moved downward, the edge of the protected portion is located within the receiving portion without contact with the protection portion.
