Patent number: 11491864Abstract: A fuel tank system for a vehicle includes a fuel tank, a fuel supply passage, a canister, an evaporated fuel gas supply passage, a communication passage, a backflow prevention device, first and second pressure measurement devices, and a control device. The fuel tank stores fuel supplied by the fuel supply passage. The canister adsorbs evaporated fuel gas generated in the fuel tank and supplied through the evaporated fuel gas supply passage. The backflow prevention device is provided in a pipe line of the fuel supply passage, and prevents a backflow of the fuel from the fuel tank. The first and second pressure measurement devices respectively measure pressures in the fuel supply passage and the evaporated fuel gas supply passage. The control device diagnoses the communication passage as being blocked when a difference between pressure values measured by the first and second pressure measurement devices exceeds a predetermined value.Type: GrantFiled: May 4, 2021Date of Patent: November 8, 2022Assignee: SUBARU CORPORATIONInventors: Kazuya Okazaki, Tetsuya Kaneko, Tomokazu Mori, Akihiro Takemura, Fumihiro Nei

Patent number: 9926865Abstract: An evaporated fuel processing apparatus includes: a fuel tank that stores fuel supplied to an engine; a purge pipe that communicates an upper space in the fuel tank with an inlet system of the engine; an electromagnetic valve that is mounted on the purge pipe and that opens and closes the purge pipe; an air-fuel ratio detecting module for detecting an air-fuel ratio of an air-fuel mixture burned in the engine in accordance with an oxygen concentration in exhaust gas emitted from the engine; and a controlling module for controlling open and close of the electromagnetic valve based on an operating state of the engine. The controller controls at least one of a valve-open cycle, a valve-open period, and a valve-open amount of the electromagnetic valve based on a variation value of the air-fuel ratio detected by the air-fuel ratio detecting module when opening the electromagnetic valve.Type: GrantFiled: June 17, 2016Date of Patent: March 27, 2018Assignee: SUBARU CORPORATIONInventors: Kosuke Kuwabara, Kengo Ito, Kazuya Okazaki

Publication number: 20170030700Abstract: Irregularities are formed on the surface of an article. At the top of each protrusion of the irregularities, fine irregularities finer than the irregularities are formed. The irregularities are formed so that, in a unit area of the surface of the article touched by a human finger, a ratio of a contact area between the finger and the article is in the range of 35% to 90%. It is preferable to form the irregularities so that the ratio of a contact area between the finger and the article is in the range of 45% to 80%.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 1, 2016Publication date: February 2, 2017Applicant: NISSAN MOTOR CO., LTD.Inventors: Hiroyuki TANAKA, Sumio SAKATA, Akane MOTOFUJI, Kazuya OKAZAKI, Fumi TOYOFUKU, Makoto TAMURAYA
