  • Publication number: 20060140404
Abstract: After receiving and storing the ID code A of an AV data transmitter (3), a remote controller (5) for managing ID receives the ID code A or B of any one of AV data receiver 4a or 4b. When the ID code A of the AV data receiver 4a is received, connectibility of communication is confirmed because the ID codes coincide with each other. When the ID code B of the AV data receiver 4b is received, nonconnectibility of communication is confirmed because the ID codes do not coincide with each other.

  • Publication number: 20050170788
Abstract: A wireless communication circuit in accordance with the present invention, is the wireless communication circuit having an amplifier for amplifying a signal, includes an amplification route in which the signal passes through the amplifier; a bypass route for bypassing the amplifier; and a route-selector for selecting one of the amplification route and the bypass route. This arrangement prevents an amplification of a signal, being transmitted or being received, when a communication counterpart is in a close distance, thereby reducing an unnecessary power consumption.

  • Publication number: 20040218899
Abstract: When an AV data transmitting device 3 confirms that a blank condition devoid of the reception of an ACK signal and re-transmission request signal has lasted in a period from time ta to time tb, the system controlling unit 531 causes the AV data transmitter 3 to provisionally halt own operation. When the AV data transmitting device 3 confirms the reception of the ACK signals from an AV data receiving device 4 in succession during a period from time tc to time td, the AV data transmitting device 3 actuates operation of an AV source apparatus 1 so as to resume a reproducing operation thus far held under a provisional halt.

  • Publication number: 20040210652
Abstract: To achieve communication, an AV data reception apparatus transmits an ID with which it permits itself to be identified to an AV data transmission apparatus. On receiving this ID, the AV data transmission apparatus identifies, based on the ID, the functions compatible with the AV data reception apparatus, and changes the functions of its own communication operation blocks according to those identified functions.

  • Publication number: 20040193647
Abstract: An AV data transmitter for transmitting AV data wirelessly and transmitting/receiving asynchronous data. The transmitter has a quality variation setting section for varying the compression ratio of the AV data and for changing the communication band for the AV data transmission or reliability of the communication. Further the transmitter has an AV data transmission switch for enabling switching even during communication.

  • Publication number: 20040161107
Abstract: When an AV data transmitter transmits an ID changeover request signal for requesting ID code changeover, an AV data transmitter determines which AV data receiver requests the ID code changeover based on the received ID changeover request signal, changes over an ID code stored in the AV data transmitter to an ID code of the determined AV data receiver, encrypts AV data with the ID code thus changed, and transmits the encrypted AV data.

  • Publication number: 20040137878
Abstract: When it is desired that an AV data receiver receives an AV data signal from an AV data transmitter, a remote controller requests the AV data transmitter to transmit an ID code. The AV data transmitter generates an encrypted ID code and a decryption code on the basis of the ID code. The AV data receiver receives the encrypted ID code over infrared communication through the remote controller, receives the decryption code over wireless communication, decrypts the encrypted ID code using the decryption code, and thereby obtains the ID code.

  • Publication number: 20020048258
Abstract: Transmission of stream data such as video data requiring real-time transmission can be realized by a cheap home network built by, for example, an Ethernet network. A communication network provided with communication means for transmitting stream data requiring real-time transmission and general data permitting some transmission delay is capable of presetting the maximum amounts of stream data and general data transmissible in a given unit time, respectively, as a stream data transmission band and a general data transmission band separately for each separate information device or commonly for all the information devices. The transmission bands allocated for each of the information devices are limited to such values at which a sum of amounts of the stream data by all the information devices can be transmitted anytime by a stream data transmission band of the network.
