    Abstract: The present invention provides an alloy, an alloy powder, an alloy member, and a composite member which are excellent in corrosion resistance and wear resistance, have crack resistance, and are suitable for an additive manufacturing method and the like. An alloy and an alloy powder include, by mass %, Cr: 18 to 22%, Mo: 18 to 28%, Ta: 1.5 to 57%, C: 1.0 to 2.5%, Nb: 0 to 42%, Ti: 0 to 15%, V: 0 to 27%, Zr: 0 to 29%, and a remainder consisting of Ni and unavoidable impurities, where a molar ratio of (Ta+0.7Nb+Ti+0.6V+Zr)/C=0.5 to 1.5 is satisfied. An alloy member is an additively manufactured product or a cast having such a solidification structure, and the solidification structure is a dendrite-like crystal structure having a metal phase having a face-centered cubic structure and carbides.

    Abstract: An object is to provide an alloy composition that has a sufficient melting point for casting of an aluminum alloy, also has high hardness, and can suppress an occurrence of galling. The alloy composition of the present invention includes: a Mo—Cr-based dendritic structure 3; and a Ni—Al-based interdendritic structure 5 that fills a periphery of the Mo—Cr-based dendritic structure 3. The alloy composition of the present invention can adopt a chemical composition I in which when Mo+Cr+Ni+Al=100 at. % holds, Ni+Al=15 to 50 at. % and Mo+Cr=50 to 85 at. % hold; or a chemical composition II in which Ni+Al=40 to 70 at. % and Mo+Cr=30 to 60 at. % hold.

The soft magnetic material of the present invention is a soft magnetic material containing Fe and Co in a total amount of 90 mass % or more, in which: contained components are 50 mass % or more of Fe, 40 mass % or less of Co, 0.1 mass % or less of C, 2.0 mass % or less of Ni, 0.2 mass % or less of Mn, Si, Cr, Ti, Nb, and V, and inevitable impurities; and the soft magnetic material contains a precipitate of a compound of iron and nitrogen. The precipitate is created by tension annealing a raw material of the soft magnetic material.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a nitriding treatment method for forming a compound layer of ? phase (Fe2-3N) and ?? phase (Fe4N) iron nitride excellent in wear durability in a steel material, from which a sliding member is formed, by short treatment, with a high thermal efficiency, with a reduced amount of used nitriding gas, and with a low environmental load. The nitriding treatment method of the present invention includes heating a sliding member made of a steel material at a temperature of 600° C. to 700° C. for a time of 1 to 25 minutes under an atmosphere of nitriding gas through high frequency induction heating or resistive heating, to form a compound layer of ? phase (Fe2-3N) and ?? phase (Fe4N) iron nitride, the compound layer having a nitrogen content of higher than 4.5%, in a surface layer portion of the sliding member.
