Abstract: A receiving apparatus includes: a communication unit performing communication with a transmitting apparatus as a transmission source of contents; and a control unit acquiring remaining drive time of the apparatus itself calculated based on a battery remaining amount of the apparatus itself and time necessary for transmitting the contents to compare the remaining drive time with the necessary time when receiving the contents from the transmitting apparatus through the communication unit and recording the contents in a storage unit, and selecting any one of a first mode in which part of the contents is received from the transmitting apparatus through the communication unit and recorded in the storage unit and a second mode in which reception of the contents is not performed when determining that the necessary time is longer than the remaining drive time based on the compared result.

Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a depth-information detecting section, a comparison/detection section, and a control unit. The depth-information detecting section is provided for detecting a peak position of an object in a depth direction, at which the object is displayed at the front in an additional information display area. The comparison/detection section is provided for making a comparison between depth information of the additional information and the peak value of the stereoscopic video data to detect a positional relationship between the stereoscopic data and the display position of the additional information in the depth direction. The control unit is provided for controlling the stereoscopic video data and the display position of the additional information in response to the positional relationship between the stereoscopic video data and the display position of the additional information.

Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes a receiving unit receiving communication data including L and R images, an attribute information acquisition unit acquiring, from the communication data, attribute information including a photographing time, and an output control unit analyzing the images and the attribute information and switching between three-dimensional image display and two-dimensional image display. If L and R images photographed at the same photographing time have been acquired, the control unit performs three-dimensional image display.

Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus generating a magnetic field, coined a “superconducting permanent magnet apparatus,” that magnetize bulk superconductors into pseudo-permanent magnets, which offer a large, usable space having a strong magnetic field. The superconducting permanent magnet apparatus according to this invention includes: a magnetic pole assembly that holds in a thermally insulated condition, a composite bulk composed of a plurality of bulk superconductors which are arranged in parallel with each other within a vacuum vessel. A stand (i) holds at least a plurality of said magnetic pole assemblies each in a predetermined orientation, and (ii) is movable in a condition that said magnetic pole assemblies are mounted thereon. A cooling part of a freezer is mounted on said magnetic pole assembly. A vacuumizing apparatus being a vacuum pump is connected to said magnetic pole assembly via a vacuum pipe.
