  • Publication number: 20050209769
Abstract: A traffic management system manages, distributes, and controls various traveling states of vehicles at a high quality level. A vehicle-mounted unit performs an interconnection process for user authentication when entering a predetermined radio-wave zone. A radio unit disposed on a road sends interconnection process completion information to a center device when the interconnection process for connection to the vehicle is completed. If the vehicle does not connect to the radio unit after elapsed of a predicted time at which the vehicle is expected to travel across the radio unit, then the radio unit sends an overtime to the center device. The interconnection process completion information is received, the center device calculates a predicted time at which the vehicle is expected to pass across a radio unit, and sends the predicted time to the radio unit. When the overtime is received, the center device determines whether a fault has occurred or not.

  • Publication number: 20050148347
Abstract: A Dario communication system including base stations that distribute predetermined data by radio so as to be received by mobile terminals located within the communication area of a base station. This system comprises a management unit managing communication area information on the communication area of each of the base stations, a communication area information providing server to which the communication area information is sent from each of the base stations a mobile terminal that has, a radio communication unit for receiving communication area information sent from each of the base stations depending on the position of the mobile terminal and boots up an application program to be used in the communication area which the mobile terminal approaches according to this received communication area information.

  • Patent number: 6463260
Abstract: A method of delivering data from a transmission station to receiver stations via satellite communication links includes the steps of delivering delivery data from the transmission station to the receiver stations via the satellite communication links, checking if the delivery data is successfully received at each of the receiver stations, sending results of the check from the receiver stations to the transmission station, generating control data from the results of the check at the transmission station, the control data indicating which receiver station failed to receive the delivery data and which receiver station succeeded in receiving the delivery data, sending the control data from the transmission station to the receiver stations, and transferring the delivery data in response to the control data from a first one of the receiver stations having succeeded in receiving the delivery data to a second one of the receiver stations having failed to receive the delivery data.

  • Patent number: 5809420
Abstract: A transmission power control apparatus in a communication apparatus which synthesizes IF signals output from a plurality of channel units and emits the synthesized signal from an antenna. In the transmission power control apparatus, when none of channel units transmit an IF signal, a controller changes the connection of a power amplifier from the antenna over to a dummy antenna and supplies the output of the power amplifier to the dummy antenna, and instructs a predetermined number m of channel units to output IF signals, a reference voltage generator generates a reference voltage corresponding to a transmission wave number m, and a variable attenuator or a variable amplifier controls gain so that the difference between detected voltage corresponding to a transmission power and the reference voltage becomes zero.

  • Patent number: 4214935
Abstract: A process for fusion-bonding of resins, which comprises applying a layer of thermoplastic resin having a light transmittance lower than 20% and a melting point of 40.degree. to 250.degree. C. to a substrate and fusion-bonding the resin layer to the substrate by emission energy of a flash discharge lamp. The electric input energy J (joule) of the flash discharge lamp is controlled relative to the weight of the resin layer.

  • Patent number: 4192700
Abstract: A process for fusion-bonding of resins, which comprises applying a thermoplastic resin having a melting point of 40.degree. to 300.degree. C. to a paper and fusion-bonding the resin to the paper by emission energy of a flash discharge lamp. The energy emission density of the flask discharge lamp is controlled relative to an electric input energy necessary for irradiation, the inner diameter of the bulb of the flash discharge lamp, the flash discharge passage length, and the pulse width.
