    Abstract: An electrophotographic photoreceptor is disclosed, including a substrate having thereon a photosensitive layer, wherein the substrate is subjected to a wet honing treatment with an abrasive agent which has a Knoop hardness of 1500 to 2900 kg/mm.sup.2, a 50% particle size of 5 to 55 .mu.m in terms of cumulative percentage, and a bulk specific gravity of 0.75 to 1.6 g/ml, at a spraying speed of 20 to 75 m/sec.
