  • Publication number: 20240104267
Abstract: A method of designing an aircraft part includes: simulating the aircraft part to be designed with a finite element method analysis model consisting of elements; and creating design information for the aircraft part by determining strengths of the elements by finite element method analysis targeting the finite element method analysis model. Each of the strengths of the elements is within an allowable range even when any of possible loads is applied to each of the elements. The possible loads are represented by combinations of three component forces by using the finite element method analysis model in which the elements are arrayed in two-dimensional directions. Whether the each of the strengths of the elements is within the allowable range is confirmed only in cases where the combinations of the three component forces are critical combinations.

  • Publication number: 20230366778
Abstract: A flutter wind tunnel test model simulates a shape and vibration property of an aircraft part, for a flutter wind tunnel test of the aircraft part. The model at least partially has non-solid structure having branched clearances inside. A volume of a portion, other than the clearances, of the non-solid structure, per unit volume is defined by density. A method of producing a flutter wind tunnel test model simulating a shape and vibration property of an aircraft part, for a flutter wind tunnel test of the aircraft part, includes: shaping non-solid structure with a three-dimensional printer and composing at least a part of the flutter wind tunnel test model using the non-solid structure. The non-solid structure has branched clearances inside. A volume of a portion, other than the clearances, of the non-solid structure, per unit volume is defined by density.

  • Publication number: 20190232635
Abstract: A controller, upon a web roll being set on a web roll support shaft: drives a brake to apply a braking force of a first value to the web roll support shaft, the first value being a value at which the web roll does not rotate when a predetermined tension is applied to a web, and drives a conveyance motor to generate a drive force for the predetermined tension; drives the brake with the drive force generated to gradually reduce the braking force from the first value while determining whether rotation of a conveyance roller starts; and upon determining that the rotation of the conveyance roller starts, determines a second value of the braking force as an initial value of the braking force in conveyance of the web for printing, the second value being a value at which the rotation of the conveyance roller starts.
