Abstract: A worker defines a first conversion rule to convert data in a data format of a cooperative operation objective system as an input into data in a data format of first common data, a second conversion rule to convert data in the format of the first common data into data in a data format of a second common data, and a third conversion rule to convert data in the data format of the second common data into data in a data format of a cooperative operation objective system as an output. According to the rules, conversion processing is executed to convert data in the data format of the input system into data in the data format of the output system.

Abstract: A business specification generation assisting system for generation of a business specification that implements a business function specified by a user, on the basis of association among the business functions, programs and physical data is provided. A physical model which is a graph having programs and input and output physical data as vertexes, a business model which is a graph having business functions and input and output logical data as vertexes, and an association model including an association table of business functions with program functions and an association table of logical data with physical data are stored. With respect to a business function specified by the user, an associated physical model is analyzed, and subgraphs associated with the business function are calculated and displayed. The business model and the association model are modified according to a modification order given by the user.

Abstract: A business specification is extracted so as to be represented by performing an analysis in a data item level by employing information which can be readily defined by a person who inputs business knowledge. While business functions and interfaces such as a series of screens corresponding to the business functions are employed as inputs, such a data item is extracted which is updated by employing an interface analysis and a program analysis. If a data item required for producing data which is updated in one business function is not inputted within this business function, the data item is defined as a preconditional condition item so as to be specified. If it is required that a business function for updating the preconditional condition item prior to the business function has been processed, a dependent relationship established between two pieces of the above-explained business is extracted so as to be represented.

Abstract: A reverse engineering support system is provided which has a high abstract degree of an analysis target system and supports high level understanding. The reverse engineering support system stores a physical model which is a graph having as vertexes a program and input/output physical data, a business model which is a graph having as vertexes a business function and input/output logical data and an association model which is an association table indicating association of the business function with the program function and association of the logical data with the physical data, calculates a subgraph corresponding to the business function specified by a user by analyzing the corresponding physical model, displays a comparison with the subgraph of the physical model, and receives a modification order of the business and association models from the user.

Abstract: When instructions involved in a switching of a task are extracted from a program under analysis, the result is that most instructions are involved in tasks. An instruction which forms part of a program under analysis is displayed together with a value which evaluates the possibility that the instruction is involved in a task. An apparatus for analyzing task specifications comprises a task specification analysis unit for determining whether an input set by an instruction is a constant or a data item depending on another instruction, and calculating a value indicative of the possibility of involvement in a task depending on the type of the instruction as a score, and a task specification analysis result display unit for displaying both the instruction and score, wherein corresponding instructions are displayed such that they can be identified by a specified range of the score.

The operator defines a first conversion rule for converting the input data into the intermediate data and a second conversion rule for converting the intermediate data into the output data and derives a conversion rule for directly converting the input data into the output data on the basis of the first and second conversion rules. This makes it easy to define and maintain the data conversion rule for transmitting the data among a plurality of systems and further improve the processing efficiency of the conversion.

In order to solve this, a user is made to designate input information on logic to be extracted from a program constituting an already existing system, and it is judged whether it is necessary to extract specific logic of each command statement of the program. Extraction necessity of specific logic from an analysis subject program is classified as follows. A command statement influenced by only an input designated by a user is classified into a command statement to be extracted, a command statement influenced by both an input designated by the user and an input not designated by the user is classified into a command statement to be corrected, and a command statement influenced by only an input not designated by the user is classified into a command statement not to be extracted.

Abstract: A content reuse type system configuration supporting system is provided which can configure a business system realizing customer business requirements by accumulating legacy work system configuration examples, inter-system link processing methods, and specification information on legacy customer work systems. An order reception system, i.e., a development side, stores work system specifications presently used by an order system, i.e., a customer side, past system configuration examples, and inter-system link methods. When a new customer business system is to be configured, a target system selection apparatus searches work systems and a link method for the work systems satisfying a requested specification, i.e., work requirements, of the order system, to thereby configure the business system.
